Many years ago, psychiatrists were heavily involved in therapy, which they integrated in medication management. I think there is a psychology and psychiatric process in each condition, which is why I think therapy is very important and enjoy practicing it. From a young age, I have always been fascinated with the mental …health. I had various members of my family, who suffered conditions such as Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, etc.So, I was more attuned to see how these conditions impacted their life. I became a child psychiatrist, because I think it is important to be proactive and preventive by receiveing psychiatric services early on.What is One Life Psychiatry?As the name implies, it is about living your “one life” to its fullest potential without any psychological or psychiatric limitations. My practice is about the holistic model integrating the optimal aspects of Western medicines (avoiding potential side effects or complications) with various therapy modalities (CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, etc).Review from a satisfied patient:"Dr. Reddy is a blessing! I am so lucky that I found such a wonderful and caring provider. He takes his time to listen to you while providing you with the education you need to understand the problems you are experiencing. This is the first provider out of many who has been as thorough as he has, all while getting to the root cause of every issue. I would recommend him to anyone who has any type of mental health deficiency. Dr. Reddy makes you feel safe and secure and also works with you to come up with a treatment that works for you. He is not your ordinary provider who throws medications at you and takes your money. I truly appreciate the change he has brought into my life as well as educating me about mental health along the way.
