Dr. Vincent John Bufalino, MD

I have been fortunate enough to have Dr. Bufalino as my cardiologist for the past ten years. He is an expert in his field, but beyond this, he is compassionate, and thoughtful. In this doctor-patient relationship, Dr. Bufalino transcends a mere clinical analysis of my cardiac issues. He listens kindly, discusses my lifestyle, and we agree on courses of action that are appropriate to me. He considers his patients as individuals. I am most grateful to him and am very confident under his care. Oh yes...he also had a great sense of humor which is rather important in cardiology. Thanks doc for all you do. God bless. Peggy Rose

The best there is

We in our family has been using Dr. Bufalino for a while now. We were so happy with his kind approach, you just feel he is taking your heart problems to his heart very closely. He really care. My Uncle Jeff had a heart attack and was in need of an open heart surgery. Dr. Bufalino explained very clearely why is the surgery needed, he spent a long time talking to us. Surgery was at Edward Hospital, done by their surgeon. It took a long time for Jeff to recover. He spent almost three weeks in the hospital and we had a lot of questions about his care there. We wish we were sent to University of Chicago or Northwestern. While I am really happy with Doctor Bufalino, his choice of a surgeon was not the best.

I have been a patient of Dr. B for over 20 years. He and the rest of the Midwest Heart team have seen me through two heart attacks. They are exceptionally good at monitoring and reacting to the changes I have presented them as the years have passed.
