Dr. Vincent Allen Fowble, MD

My advice to other patients would be to stay as far away as possible to this surgeon. It’s been two years since he’s done my hip and my knee and I am still in extreme pain. I feel he has no bedside matter when he visit his mind is elsewhere. you try to call their office it takes hours. It’s a very poorly run outfit. Cleveland clinic is supposed to be good but when you’re working with Dr. Fowble‘s office, it’s very very disappointing. Lastly, I know I’ve had one or more appointments with Dr. Fowble, I know for a fact that he didn’t listen to one thing I had to say it seems like his mind is always some where else. Before I went to Dr. fowble i was working playing golf and now I’m crippled.

I was crippled, my left knee was much worse than my right. Dr Fowble didn’t sugar coat the procedure or what was to be expected after the surgery. He spent a great deal of time explaining how important it was to follow all instructions prior and after surgery. I was expecting the worst recovery and to my surprise I was completely off pain meds in five days and walking without any aids in 6 days. At the end of two weeks I was out and about of course with caution. Their follow up and his team where top notch and I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Fowble

Dr. Fowble is an excellent Doctor/Surgeon. Performed a total hip replacement. Had me up walking the day after surgery with less pain than I had before the surgery. No complications at all. He and his office staff were friendly, professional and absolutely first rate. They gave me complete information about my options and what to expect. I couldn't be happier with the results and recommend Dr. Fowble without reservation.

BEWARE!! This practice no longer writes prescriptions for pain medication beyond Tramaodol which will not touch the pain from a total knee replacement or hip. Moreover, they don't advise you of this prior to surgery and when you call in serious pain, desperate for relief they truly could care less, and advise that you can go to a pain clinic. So an elderly patient, who can't even drive yet after surgery, who is crying in pain, can wait weeks to get into a pain clinic and meanwhile be in excruciating pain? They should have been told this prior to surgery. There are other doctors to choose from. It's shameful and inhumane how they are treating patients. SHAME SHAME SHAME!

Had drfowble replace my hip over 10yrs ago hes the best l live in NY had another hip replacement after seeing 3 different surgeons was told it was 9in longer then dr flowble hip now l need revision surgwaxery dont trust no one annmore only dr flowble hopefully l can get to see him george durse

Dr. Fowble is not only a great surgeon but a great person. He is highly skilled and has a great personality. I recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Vincent Fowble performed revision total hip replacement surgery on me at Jupiter Medical Center, a state-of-the-art orthopedic center with a very low infection rate and a wonderful staff. My leg had been left over 7/8 inch too short during a partial hip replacement done 11 months earlier by another surgeon. The large leg-length discrepancy made walking very difficult, and the movement of the head of the prosthesis within my natural socket still caused considerable pain after almost a year. The stem of the prosthesis had been cemented. I sought the opinion of 3 highly-regarded surgeons, who all agreed that the only way to fully restore my proper leg length and eliminate my pain was to place a total hip and to remove the stem, which could possibly involve the risky task of cutting the lateral side of my femur and wiring it back together. Sensing his honesty and compassion concerning my situation, I chose Dr. Fowble, who was able to use his considerable skill to tap out the old… stem and restore my leg close to its normal length. I was able to walk with a cane after 3 days, and I did not have to take so much as a Tylenol after the anesthesia wore off. In comparison, I needed a walker and narcotic pain meds for over a month following my initial surgery by my previous surgeon. Dr. Fowble is truly a caring and highly skilled surgeon. As an active 61-year-old, I am forever in his debt.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr Fowble. During our appointment he used profanity, demonstrated grave unprofessionalism, and spoke to us in a very condescending manner. At one point he even told us to “learn some common sense” when we were simply asking him our medical questions. As someone who is also in the medical field, I would never recommend Dr Fowble to patients looking for quality care.

Dr. Fowble Is the only Orthopaedic surgeon I will now see. His knowledge, confidence, kindness and thorough explanation of issues and/or surgery options is the best ever! Dr. Fowble takes on what others won't with precision and professionalism as well.
