Exceptional Doctor I am 73 years old and had been experiencing pelvic floor issues for several months. I tried Poise Impressa tampons for a few months and a Pessary for a few more. Thankfully my gynecologist recommended I see Dr Lucente to address my issue as he stated “he’s #1 in my book”. I decided this is the doctor I want to see and so I traveled to Allentown from NEPA. I had no problem making an appointment, spent very little wait time in the office, and experienced friendly staff on every visit. I first met Dr. Lucente in the spring of 2011. I was only 53 years old when I was diagnosed with a rectocele. Dr. Lucente was incredibly understanding of my situation and assured me he would be able to help correct the problem. The surgery was a success, and my recovery was quick and painless. Now, 15 years later, at the age of 68, I found myself facing another challenge. I needed robot-assisted sacrocolpopexy using Y mesh and cystourethroscopy. Unfortunately, Dr. Lucente was out of network, so I had the surgery performed by another urogynecologist. While the surgery itself went well, I unfortunately developed significant leakage and had to undergo another procedure called Peri urethral bulking with the same doctor—but it didn’t work. I suffered for months. I knew I needed to see Dr. Lucente because I trusted he would be the one to help me. Thankfully, I was able to switch insurance, and he was now in network. It's been 6 months since my surgery and I feel like a new woman! Dr Lucente has helped me more than you'll ever know. After the first visit I knew I was in the right place. His explanation of the procedure was detailed and thorough. Everything was explained in layman's terms so I understood exactly what was going to happen. Surgery went well and my recovery was rapid. Dr. Lucente was highly recommended by 2 friends and I'm glad I sought him for my problem. His exam, explanation of the problem, how it could be resolved and the surgery were all top notch. Dr. Lucente and his staff are all very professional and caring. Dr. Lucente himself, is top in his field. He has done an incredible amount of research in his field for the benefit of women. I am a 52-year-old Physical Therapist Assistant, and I do much physical activity at my job. He was able to explain the Enplace system to me, perform the surgery with very little discomfort afterwards and get me back to normal quickly. I am very pleased with my recovery. Dr. Lucente is the Best! I was amazed and impressed by his knowledge and confidence. His recommendation for a less invasive surgery for my prolapse was incredible, compared to my previous diagnosis with other doctors. Great Dr. Highly recommended From the moment I met Dr Lucente I felt confident and comfortable about everything that was explained to me He’s professional, kind and an excellent doctor. My surgery went well and I cannot say enough about him. I was not nervous at all going into surgery and I did very well. I am 2 weeks post op and doing great.
