Dr. Vincent Obias, MD

Vincent J. Obias, M.D., is a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon and chief of Johns Hopkins colorectal surgery in the national capital region.He specializes in minimally invasive robotic colon & rectal surgery with a focus on robotic surgery. He treats a variety of conditions, including colorectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis and functional anorectal disorders. Dr. Obias has written articles on a variety of subjects including rectal cancer, post-operative recovery, trauma-critical care, and transplant surgery. Dr. Obias earned his Bachelor’s in Biology at James Madison University.
