Dr. Vincent PerrottaPrior to establishing Peninsula Plastic Surgery in 1995, Dr. Perrotta served as an attending surgeon and Instructor of Plastic Surgery at Temple University. With extensive training and experience in all areas of plastic surgery, he decided to leave the university setting with the goal of bringing metropolitan-quality plastic surgery to the Delmarva Peninsula. Also, he and his wife, Christina, felt the Delmarva Peninsula would be a wonderful place to raise their five children.After earning an Honors Degree at Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Perrotta received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School of Old Dominion University. He completed his general surgical internship and residency at the University of Vermont, and his plastic surgery residency at Temple University.Dr. Perrotta is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the prestigious …American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Perrotta is also an instructor of surgical residents at Tidal Health.Although Dr. Perrotta has extensive experience with all facets of plastic and reconstructive surgery, he enjoys sculpting the most. Whether he is refining the hump on a nose or forming the perfect curve on a woman’s hip, he takes great pride in creating the best possible result. He considers himself an artist, with the human body as his medium.As a founding and board member of La Merced medical missions, Dr. participated in eight medical missions to Nicaragua. He provided reconstructive surgery for children with deformities and women who had has lost their breast(s) to breast cancer. In 2013 Dr. Perrotta was awarded the Outstanding Public Health Leader for Wicomico County. The COVID pandemic brought the medical mission to its end. Dr. Perrotta yearns to return to Nicaragua.His goal as a Plastic Surgeon has always been: “to provide peace of mind to individuals who believe they have aesthetic imperfections.” His overall vision is “to afford each patient the comfort of self-confidence.We would love to make a difference for you.
