If many of the reviews of Dr. Tan on this site are accurate, he has either changed his demeanor or he treats his Veteran Administration patients differently. My experience as a Veteran assigned to his care by the VA was anything, but caring and professional. He was outright rude, condescending and insensitive to my medical needs.

I've been a patient of Dr. Tan's for over 10 years. He takes an honest interest in his patients. He's also very practical. He's not one to order un-needed tests or just try to fix everything with a prescription. He keeps updated on the latest medical information. He's always kept the full picture in mind, which been very helpful to me over the years.

I did not have to wait for an appt. Called and got in same day. Very pleasant staff and MD. Taking the time to listen, Did not feel rushed. Would highly recommend. Lab on site very handy

I have been a patient of Dr. Tan for 10 years. He is a very caring, friendly, courteous, professional, thorough, knowledgeable physician. His facilities are very clean and modern and his staff is very friendly and helpful. An added plus.... Dr. Tan`s office never double or triple books patients. I have never had to wait more than a minute when I arrived for my appointment. Also, on a couple occasions I was very sick and they were able to see me on the same day. Bottom line.... if you are trying to find a great Doctor who cares about his patients, doesn't view them as just a number, doesn't double and triple book patients, rushing them in and out. You will not disappointed with Dr. Tan.

Dr. Tan at Stratham Family Health has been my PCP for 15 years- since he moved to Stratham. I've never thought for a second about changing PCPs. Dr. Tan has found issues during my yearly physicals that were overlooked by Specialists. He is a kind, courteous, Doctor who listens to you , and doesn't jump to conclusions. He has never sent me for a lab or test that didn't make sense in 15 years. Great, friendly office staff too. I have always been able to get an appointment within 24 hours, and usually the same day. You couldn't do better!! .
