Dr. Vinette Zabriskie, MD

Dr. Zabriskie is the worst!! She mixed patient info and gave me horrible advise by gossiping about me with Dr Yakov Grinberg. She’s not fit to give medical advise. Meeting her caused me a lot of emotional harassment and mental stress. All the women out there, please save yourself from Dr. Vinette Zabriskie.

I was tired of Doctors pushing me to do things and not explaining or not answering the questions I asked and hurrying to another appointment. I am conscience on their time and try and be quick but with questions about my cancer it is not possible. Dr. Zabriskie was very present with me and helped me ALOT. She is great.

Dr. Zabriskie is an amazing doctor. I have been seeing her for over 10 yrs and each time I meet with her it is extremely comfortable, her manner shows she cares about you as a patient and person and I have never left her office with any question unanswered.

"Dr. Z" is one of the warmest and most compassionate doctors I've ever visited --- which is why I've been seeing her for over 20 years for all my "female" problems.

Dr. Zabriskie was the worst doctor I have ever worked with. For my first pregnancy I was young (22?) and knew very little about what to expect. Upon giving me the exam, she treated me like an idiot, telling me that my spotting was "very bad news". She never ordered my progesterone levels checked (which upon having 5 successful pregnancies over 12 years, we discovered that I run low AND spot significantly throughout the first trimester anyway), ordered an ultrasound where we saw baby's heartbeat. 2 weeks later I began to miscarry and I called the doc on call (her) and I said, "I'm so sorry to call this late (11pm), but I'm miscarrying and afraid of what to expect." to which she replied, "Yes, it is late. Get some towels, lay on the couch and wait it out. Call back if you start bleeding enough to fill a pad an hour." and hung up. HUNG UP. Miscarriage was confirmed the next day, though it was incomplete and I ended up needing a D&C. She seemed more pleased to see me at the clinic… (which was awful, I felt like she was giving me an abortion, which I am strongly opposed to) and NEVER FOLLOWED UP after my D&C. No appointment, no call from the office, nothing. My husband and I were left to fend for ourselves and were very afraid. And this is just my review. Another friend was told that either she or her husband were being unfaithful because she had contracted Chlamydia. My friend insisted for 10 minutes that the test be run again, much to Dr. Zabriskie's chagrin, only to come back NEGATIVE. No apology was issued at all. I'm sure some may have had good experiences, but not me. I'm glad I had my other babies with the assistance of other OBs.

My overall experience was extremely poor. I saw her 7 days after having a polyp removed in my uterus. I had seen an endocrinologist who diagnosed me with a uternine polyp and removed it immediately in her office. That week I experienced exreme pain, like labor pains, threw up and had a temperature. I ended up going to ER. Per her instructions to the ER doctor I was given a high dose of anti biotics, ultrasound and morphine for pain. I never experienced pain like this even having given birth to 2 children. I called and got right in to see Dr. Zabriskie. My husband came with me. She examined me and said "at this time I don't see anything wrong." She proceeded to tell me that I was experiencing pain at this time because i was constipated. I was speachless. I said so you are saying that once the polyp was removed that this caused me to be constipated and have labor like pains in my stomach and back? She would not respond. My husband proceeded to ask questions and she would cut him… off. My impression was that she was clearly trying to cover up for the doctor who botched up the first procedure. She did not care about my well being but could not get us out the door fast enough. I left in tears not understanding why she did not want to help. I am on day 8 of this nightmare and do not have an OB/GYN I can trust to go see next to help follow up on my care. Just to note the Endocrinologist referred me to this OB/GYN practice. One discouraged professional who needs to get better and get back to work.

I actually really liked Dr. Zabriskie. I saw her when I was pregnant. She was very kind, on time, and was honest with me when I ended up needing a C-section delivery. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend her.
