Dr. Vinod Kumar Thukral, MD

I went in to see this doctor Vinod Thukral for a same day appointment and the visit was terrible. This was at the advantage care physicians office If I could give 0 stars, I would. The doctor was very unprofessional. I came in with migraine, dizziness, trouble standing; walking and eye pain followed by vision changes and he told me that there was nothing he could do. He was very rude. He then told me to go to the hospital. He said there’s one a few blocks from there. He told me he was not prescribing me any medicine or anything. Just go to the hospital because I can’t help you. He did not try to ease my comfort in any way nor did he try to refer me to someone that could. His office refused to give me any copy of my visit with the doctor. His office refused to upload any visit summary of my visit stating details about my visit. I don’t know what kind of doctor this is but a review should be done on him. I was furious, saddened and shocked at the way I was mistreated. I was treated very… poorly. I will not be retuning to this doctor. This is not okay.

a friend had told me of him and recommend I see him, so he was right! this was so great in caring for me an took the took the time to explain things to me and listened to my concerns. great bed side manners there need to be more physicians like him in this world who seem to be so humble ,courteous and friendly as well as concerning with their patients. I went to see Dr. Thukral when I first moved to New York City because I hadn't found a primary care physician. His staff were all courteous and professional, but he was the opposite. He was rude and short with me and didn't seem very interested in helping me figure out a proper diagnosis for my problem. Sharing your medical history with a new Dr. is scary enough without them being rude to you.I would suggest going to any other Dr. in the New York area besides Dr. Thukral.
