Hello, can someone please tell me the new location of Dr Mambapoor ?

She is a great person and a great doctor , I have been going to her for about 15 + years, I will miss her being my Doctor. much love Dr.Mambapoor , Love Carol wright

Very poor office/customer service ethics...do not go there; the office staff is very rude towards patients and unprofessional.

Dr Mambapoor called me personally to give test results that were positive. I am very comfortable with her, you know that she cares.

Poor bedside manner. Lack of listening. Condescending and rude. Office was dirty.

Dr. Mambapoor frequently seemed hurried and impatient during our visits, although, in general, she seemed competent. I am on disability/Medicare and have to receive some of my medications through patient assistance programs. She was sometimes impatient with this procedure. There came a time when a medicine was prescribed by another physician and I came to Dr. Mambapoor to have it filled, since I thought that the primary care doctor had to handle the patient assistance meds. She said that the other doctor should do this and that they were busy with other things. Since I thought that only the primary doctor could handle physician assistance meds, I expressed my disappointment at her unwillingness to do so--but not in a rude manner. However, when I checked with the other doctor, I learned that they would and could handle it. As I was in the process of writing a letter to the doctor to apologize for my misunderstanding, I received a letter from Dr. Mambapoor's office stating that… they no longer wished to have me as a patient, and would only see me in the event of an emergency. When I called her today to ask to be seen, since I have been sick for a week with what I think may be either an ear or sinus infection, I was told that she would not see me (even though I feel that this is an emergency). So, even though some of her care seems to have been adequate, I cannot recommend her based on the response I had today to my need to be seen, and based on her reaction to my misunderstanding of how prescription assistance meds are to be handled. So I would suggest that anyone with this need should not see her. It is unfortunate that a minor misunderstanding has caused her to force me to find another primary care doctor, whilst I am in the midst of having surgery, as well as having following up on another operation. Also, I have to take many medications because of blood pressure, low potassium, etc., so it is essential that I have a doctor. Once one has established a relationship with a doctor, it is difficult to find another doctor and check them out through the various referral sites. I am deeply disappointed at being "shunned" because of a misunderstanding, a minor disagreement. Therefore, I cannot recommend Dr. Mambapoor for anything other than the most basic of medical care.

Dr. Mambapoor is friendly, efficient. She listens and answers questions. I am happy to have her as my primary care physician.
