Dr. Guzel is an excellent surgeon. He is very passionate about his patients and his profession as a physician. Caring individual.

I had hip replacement surgery in May 2019. I was up and walking that day. I was pushing a cart around Costco a couple days later. Back to walking my 5 plus miles every morning within 3 weeks as well as mowing the lawn. Absolutely no issues with the wound following surgery. He did the surgery at Memorial Herman in Katy. By far the best hospital experience I have ever had. The pre surgery visit went right on schedule. The morning of surgery they had everything ready to go. I walked in. Was sent to my pre op room. Got ready to go and was headed to surgery within an hour. Very efficient. I have never sat in his office pre or post surgery for more than 10 minutes.

From the time I entered the office everyone I had contact with was very cordial and professional. I was seen exactly at my appointment time. Dr. Guzel explained everything to me in understandable terms. He treated me as if I had been there a hundred times as opposed to my first visit. He outlined his course of therapy for me and asked If I had any other concerns or questions. It was everything you would hope a doctor visit should be like. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services and I commend his staff as well.

We approached Dr. Guzel about performing surgery on my son's shoulder which had been chronically dislocated. Dr. Guzel was so flexible with scheduling and the surgery was a great success! His bedside manner is friendly, and he took a great deal of time explaining the process and subsequent recovery and physical therapy. Not only that, but he was much more affordable than any of the other physicians with whom we spoke. We were using private insurance, and he made sure that the pricing was such that we could afford the surgery without a huge out of pocket expense. I highly recommend Dr. Guzel, and while I hope we don't need to use him again, I absolutely would if the need arises for any orthopedic issue.

This man has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have seen in a long time. He will not let you finish a sentence, so therefore you do not get to tell him exactly what is bothering you. He is very argumentative as well. I would not send my dog to this man. Giving him 1 star is being nice and am only doing that because I can't rate him any lower. Save your time and frustration by going to someone else!

Great Dr and surgeon listens to and treats more than one ailment at a time.

I cannot rave enough about Dr. Guzel! He's awesome!! He always encouraged me to push myself and my body and boy did it pay off! I am now stronger than I was before I came in! He was genuine and honest, but at the same time asked for my opinion and how my body was reacting to certain things! Would def recommend Dr Guzel over anyone else! Simply greay!

Dr. Guzel is a great doctor. He takes time to discuss the procedures needed and is always happy to see us at his office and is very informative regarding the procedures need. My husband (Daniel) and I (Shirley) find him among the best of Doctors. Thank Dr. Guzel

Dr. Guzel is an outstanding orthopedic doctor. He performed right knee replacement surgery two weeks ago on me. I had a lot of questions prior to surgery, and he was very patient and answered all of them. The staff at the hospital and at the rehabilitation facility have all spoken very highly of him. My pain level after surgery has been very tolerable, and my progress has been wonderful. Twelve days after surgery I was varying walking with a walker and with a cane. And could go short distances without either one. I highly recommend Dr. Guzel!
