I have seen Dr. Dang at the Urgent Care center many times. He is always good (accurate diagnosis without too many tests.) He takes time to make sure I understand my diagnosis and what I am supposed to do (medicines, follow up, etc.)

I don't know why this guy became a pain doctor. He really does not care about patients and their pain. I think he has mostly in it to make money by doing unneeded procedures. Horrible bedside manner and just doesn't seem to empathize with patients. Stay away!

My doctor was no longer practicing in the group, and my chart was turned over to Dr. Dang. I met him for about 4 minutes, and he then proceeded to talk about all of the negative side effects of pain medications. Unfortunately, he was so busy talking, that he didn't hear my true complaints, and I believe that he dismissed me. Perhaps he wasn't interested in a new patient, or maybe he just enjoys hearing himself talk all of the time. All of the staff kept saying that he was, "straight from Harvard", but that is useless to me, unless he can help the problem that he is treating me for. I won't be returning to his practice again, not because he didn't give me what I wanted, (because he kept most of my medicatiins the same with a bit of persuasion), but because I felt like I wasn't truly heard. I'm not the doctor, and I don't want to be the one calling the shots....but I also don't want to be dismissed either.

He handles an anxious, sick child with compassion and thoroughness. My daughter is petrified of doctors, and she will go without a fight to Dr. Dang

Dr. Dang listens and communicates well. He understands complex issues. He is a ery professional, competent and caring doctor.
