Dr. Wafaa A Hanna, MD

First visit with the doctor , my baby was premature and stayed at the hospital for few weeks , I was overwhelmed taking her home until I met Dr Hanna , she made me and my husband feel great , answered all our questions, spent almost an hour with us . This is our first baby , after just one visit I felt So comfortable and capable , she is very thorough , very compassionate and had an outstanding bed side manner . I had to thank my girl friend who referred me to her .

I don't even know how Dr. Hanna could possibly have good reviews from people. She is rude, talks down to people, and is so inconsistent with her advice that its frustrating. She's also impossible to get in touch with and cant be bothered to return calls in a timely manner.

I have 3 kids , my first visit with Dr Hanna , for the first time I feel comfortable , all my concerns were addressed , great thorough check up , was very detailed , great bedside manner and the kids loved her . Now I know why all my friends and relatives recommended her . She clearly loves what she does , I don’t think I could ever take my kids to any other pediatrician .

when my kids met Dr Hanna for the first time they asked me can we go see her all the time and i asked them why , they said to me mom she is so sweet, and she loves us , she cares. my kids are 5 and 7 years old! i enjoyed my first visit to her office with my kids , took really time to listen and to advise , she made me feel so good very down to earth and has great knowledge i could tell she loves what she does. She made me and my kids feel great and I told all my friends that has kids to go see her. i recommend her highly.

Being young parents I felt like dr. Hanna talked down to us. She always seemed so surprised we were doing so well when we came in for checkups. And if we had questions she would give us a typical textbook answers not really listen to us and understand every baby is different. She made very rude comments at our last visit and I will not be going back! She's a nice lady until you disagree with her.

Dr. Hanna has been my daughters pediatrician since birth she has always been caring and helpful and so has the staff. She responds immediately even at 3am. I have followed all Dr. Hanna's advice and she has always been right on.

The knowledge, passion, care, concern, and drive are just some of the outstanding and wonderful qualities of Dr. Hanna. You can only be so lucky to have her as a doctor. She is truly heaven sent!!

Dr. Hanna showed great empathy and concern for our son. Really took her time and answered our questions. She was also very thorough in assessing all aspects of his health. Wonderful bedside manner and could tell that she really loves working with kids and good communication. I would whole heartedly recommend her as a pediatrician.

Dr. Hanna is a phenomenal physician who she cares about her patients as if they were her own children. In fact, she refers to them as "her kids" (smile). She is by far one of the top pediatricians in the Chicago area.
