Dr. Wallace Edward Duff, MD

I visited Dr. Duff yesterday since I could not get into my primary in a matter of 24 hours I am feeling 100% better . I hope he never retires!

Dr.Duff did two of my sinus surgeries and did a phenomenal job. I've been going to him for years and I have many allergies to medications and he found a medication for my migraines which I'm very thankful ?? hope he never retires!! BLT

Dr. Duff did not listen to me when I described my problems at all. He frequently talked over me. He prescribed me a relatively new medication, stating it had “no side effects” and had done well in studies. However, when I asked for an information sheet on the medication or if they could point me to the studies he referred to, the nurse said they don’t have them. Instead, Dr. Duff told me to do research at home (I did, and chose not to take the medication due to the vast and serious side effects noted by users). When my test results came back negative and I still didn’t know what was wrong, I asked about next steps, and the nurse said she wasn’t sure and I would have to make another appointment. The receptionist was unkind, the nurse and doctor lacking compassion.

I was beyond impressed with my experience at Dr. Duff's office. I waited less than two minutes for my appointment, both visits. The staff was very friendly, helpful and organized. The office was immaculate. If you are looking for a physician whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic and up to date, treats the whole person, and really takes the time to LISTEN (all while maintaining an efficient practice), Dr. Duff is your "go-to" guy.

Dr. Duff is very knowledgeable, patient, honest, and caring. My experience with him was great! I left his office feeling very hopeful and relieved to finally found someone who could help me. Wow! I have been experiencing persistent facial pain, sinusitis, fatigue, etc. for years. I have traveled out of my home state (Indiana) to seek out the best medical care from some of the nation's most prestigious, highly regarded, and cutting edge institutions. Still, despite surgical and medicinal interventions, my symptoms worsened. I had begun to think I was going nuts. By chance, I visited Omaha to see relatives and decided to revisit my previous immunologist ( a great doc, Kobayashi ) and was sent promptly to Dr. Duff, that same afternoon, for further assessment. Dr. Duff offered a diagnosis that had never been considered (I am talking a dozen or more specialists). It was my "Ahh-Haa" moment. Finally, it all made sense. He thoroughly explained my condition and reviewed medical papers/findings with me! Amazing... considering I was sent over for an acute incident, was not a regular patient, and would likely not be returning to Nebraska for months. This gentleman know his stuff.… Thank You!
