Dr. Walter M. Hassig, MD

Dr Hassig, is a very caring Dr. He will take time to answer all of your concerns. Plus he has a wonder staff

Dr Hassig obviously cannot “practice” medicine. He cancelled a procedure WITHOUT reviewing my chart. He then proceeded to prescribe a medication that has a history (in my chart) of literally making me feel as if I want to harm myself. After this was finally brought to his attention, he then decided I DID need the original procedure. He NEVER even apologized, yet sent another doctor to do his “dirty work” and try to reschedule the procedure. As far as I’m concerned, he is unethical and should NOT be in the position he is in.

Dr. Hassig could have easily sent us on our way after he determined we needed a different specialty but instead went above and beyond any reasonable expectation. Took his time and even set up the needed appt with a different doctor while we were there AND ordered some preliminary standard testing the next doctor would need so we were able to do them that day, saving us weeks of time. Couldn't be happier...only wish I could have him for a primary care dr.

Very rude and condescending.

Needless tests, expensive medications and misdiagnosis of easy textbook cholecystitis. Suffered a year!

This doctor was a joke. He canceled a necessary surgery the day of surgery saying "I was looking better" even though all my labs indicated I was getting worse. His beside manner left much to be desired, especially professionalism. He was the second one in this group I fired in two days.
