This was not my first elective surgery when I decided to undergo blepheroplasty. He recommended I go under local anesthetic- it was very painful, sore, severe burning during the operation. I was attempting my Lamaze breathing throughout the experience, but it was awful for the last 40 minutes. He was shocked that i wanted an ice pack at the end and my pain level was an 8?! When stitches were removed, it was so excruciating I screamed, cried, swore and made him stop three times. He again was completely shocked I was in pain. My skin grew back over the stitches and I left bleeding. My mother has had the same procedure done two times in Chicago, and it was a cake walk. No pain. All smooth sailing. Clearly, I should have gone home to her Dr.

I had reconstruction on one breast, reduction on the other breast, tummy tuck with liposuction. I can't put into words how terrible the results were on every area he operated on. I submitted a review in the past but it has been taken down. All reviews should remain. I had this surgery in 2012 and am an older patient so maybe he has not done much surgery on older people. We never stop wanted to look our best. I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend him. Marilyn

He walked out of an appt with me. Took a call in the middle of the appt, too. This was after I'd waited over an hour to see him. His staff gossip about patients and if you try to tell him about it he shrugs it off. He's a nice person and his laugh is infectious, but being congenial doesn't make up for utter lack of consistency across the board.

Very satisfactory visit

Dr. L did a breast reduction on me 1 month ago. His office people are excellent, return calls, all are great! (I had to stay longer than expected after surgery due to anestesias error-scratched my corneas) Dr.L would stick his head in every day to give me some baloney & got it back. He made the best of what had been a bad experience. I told him I was going to cancel the surgery, along with my son-basically called me a chicken. Just what I needed. Really. I love any doc that can laugh & he can, but also be professional too.
