Dr. Walter Lin, MD FACS, MD

I'm writing this to give my highest possible recommendation for Dr. Walter Lin. I recently retired after 40 years of practice as a Physician Assistant in orthopedics and occupational medicine. Over the past 7 years and as part of my clinical practice, I had the privilege of having Doctor Lin provide care for my hand and wrist injuries. Without exception, he demonstrated a remarkable combination of compassionate care and excellent clinical expertise. I witnessed first hand his calm, reassuring knowledgeable demeanor, conservative care and gratifying surgical outcomes. My patients were routinely grateful for his care. Recently my brother was visiting from Colorado where he had undergone a hand surgery approximately 11 weeks prior. He had concerns regarding numbess and poor range of motion. Doctor Lin offered to evaluate him. My brother stated to me how impressed and grateful he was for Doctor Lin’s careful attention to his complaints, thorough examination, reassurance and… recommendations going forward. I am not surprised by the consistently excellent reviews of Dr Lin and recommend him without exceptions.

I am absolutely grateful for being a patient of Dr Lin. Dr Lin treats his patients with respect and values their time. He definitely not that type of hand surgeon that accept me as patient because he can bill more ! I had terrible experience with another hand surgeon before I found Dr Lin. I still remember clearly, after waiting more than 20 minutes , I only had less than 5 minutes with that doctor. Above all, I can’t believe that doctor didn’t even look at my hands !! Didn’t he know that the purpose of my visit is for my hands ? But with Dr Lin , he conducted a very thorough examination of my hands. He is very patient and listened for what I had gone through. He answered all my questions and discussed all options that are available for my situation. He picked the best solution for me. I have a lot of trust in Dr Lin.
