Me hizo esperar 40 minutos para mi consulta... fui por un problema en la nariz y jamás me la reviso....aparte que salí regañada porque le molesto que hubiera cambiado de doctor antes... jamás fue amable ,,,, es una persona fría y sin tacto ... no la recomendaria para nada ...

I am my Mother's caregiver, and she had an appt yesterday at the new facility on Culebra Rd. Upon walking to the entrance, we were welcomed like family by the security people outside. I requested a wheelchair, not only was one brought to us, but they wheeled my Mother wherever she needed to be. Check-in was a breeze, and we were directed to go through the double doors to area "B". The facility is absolutely gorgeous, very warm and inviting, everyone had smiling faces, an attitude of respect and graciousness, with everything on site, you don't have to leave and be running from this place to that place~it was a well thought out process from start to finish. There is ample parking, a large waiting area that is comfortable with complimentary coffee til 11:00, a complete lab room, a separate physical therapy facility, as well as the urgent care~all right there!!! From checking in, to verifying patient information and insurance, to speaking with the Dr, we were treated as family with the… utmost respect of talking to my Mother and I in terms where we understood exactly what the Dr was saying. She went over lab results, explaining what the numbers meant, if she saw any problems that could occur even making suggestions for improvement. To say that I am happy is such an understatement, but one thing is for certain, I would recommend this practice to anyone who was in need of quality Healthcare with the foundation of being personable, professional, and truly enjoying and believing in what they do to make a difference. The Staff is amazing. However this is the worst Dr. that clinic has. I suggest you go with a different Dr. This is the most unfriendly person at that place. I was with this Clinic for years, and one encounter with this woman, blew it all. Instead of following up to see if I as a patient was ok, she just did not want to treat me. This encounter has bothered me so bad, I refuse to go anywhere anymore. I do not suggest that for others though. Gonzaba is a wonderful Clinic. This Doctor is not. This is just my experience, and from the reviews I have read on other sites, I am not alone.

After 3 years away from San Antonio, my mom was thrilled to be able to re-establish with Dr Anguiera at her new location at Gonzaba Medical on Culebra Rd. And now that she is no longer a business owner as well as a doctor, Dr Anguera seems more relaxed and an even better physician than before. My mom has total trust in her and always comes away feeling like Dr A really cares even if that means getting chewed out (in love of course) for not doing what she should for her own health. I suspect that some of the other reviewers who complained about Dr A, just diddn't want to hear the hard truth - but my feeling is, why go to a doctor who doesn't care enough to tell you how you can do something to get truly healthy instead of just giving you another pill !?! (That's why her previous practice was called ALLIANCE FOR WELLNESS ) BOTTOM LINE - if you're looking for a doctor to just blindly write scripts for pain pills and valium, don't bother; but if you want a doctor who… will confront you with your transgressions and also CHEER YOU ON when you try and make progress - then Dr Angueira is your (wo)man!! And apparently lots of other people agree, cuz when she returned to private practice after a short retirement, her old patients have flocked back in droves and her panel is filling up FAST!!

Always in a hurry and doesn't accurately hear me out. Each time I have been properly diagnosed. Its difficult to get a hold of staff, leave voice mail never seem to hear back until I keep calling. Also she left Alliance for Wellness and did not communicate to her patients. I was surprised to see her on a bill board for a new facility. The staff at Alliance said she was not expected to return to practice.

I'm a person that has to go to the doc's office every 3 to 4 months, without fail. While I adore Dr. Angueira and have the utmost confidence in her abilities to help me remain alive, the lady will be late to her own funeral. Smile. I will miss her.

Dr. Wanda Angueira had the worst bedside manners ever I had been to her office several times but never seen by her this will be my last visit with her she made me fell as if I wasted her time she was very rude and heartless needless to say we didn't get down to the bottom of what was going on with me ! I've never come across such a horrible doctor !

First and last appointment 1)Horrible bedside manner Needs to get one !! She Became combative 2)Mentioned to nurse about her attitude - she came back in later and attacking me and accused me of using foul language - might need a course in English 3)Has her own agenda - left without my problem being addressed - Has no empathy for patient 4)Refused me refill on prescriptions that I have been taking for years 5)Staff watched me coughing my guts out without offering any help, I could have chocked to death, I had to leave waiting room 2-3 times to use hallway restroom so as to get some relief 6) Overall a bad experience !!!

I was kept waiting in examination room for 30 minutes, while she laughed and joked with her staff, during their lunch hour. I was her patient for 3 years, and was seen by her only twice. The other times I was seen by the nurse practioners. I never felt close to my doctor. When I took my son for an appointment to see him for allergies and pain in his back, she gave him nasal spray and shrugged her shoulders when he asked her about the pain in his back. (I know it sounds rediculous, but it happend!) The last straw, was when I recommended a co-worker, only because I knew they would squeeze her in the same day, and did not think much harm could be done. Boy, was I wrong! My co-worker called me and told me she had a horrible experience! She waited in lobby for close to 2 hours and when she was finally seen by Dr. Anguira she was made to feel embarassed by her weight and that she was to blame for all her ailments! Needless to say, I switched doctors.. but felt that others should be… warned.
