Dr. Warren Lee Metherd, MD

The worst doctor I ever had. He laughs at you when you ask questions and treats you like a moron for asking. He put me on the "depo" shot due to my high blood pressure and told me I would never have a period again. I has the most erratic bleeding and worst side effects of my life and I am 40 years old. He gave me no warning only telling me I would never have a period again. When I asked why I wasn't warned of all the erratic bleeding I was told that he doesn't know what it will do to my body. Something else I should have been told. He refused to discuss other forms of birth control and told me to come back so he could put estrogen in my uterus. I rand for my life and never looked back. He reminded me of what poor women must of went through with condescending male doctors in the old days.

Dr. Metherd is the best OB/GYN in the area. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. He is knowledgeable, kind and caring. Although he has delivered thousands upon thousands of babies, he truly makes you feel like you are the only one. Pregnancy can be a happy but stressful period in a womenâ??s life and Dr. Metherd is there to walk side by side with you. He is one of a kind!

I was referred to Dr. Metherd from my mother and I believe by far Dr. Metherd is the best doctor I've ever came across. I am a young mother, and when I came into his office for my first pre-natal care at six months pregnant I was lost but with Dr. Metherd's and also the nurse's help I was able to have a healthy beautiful baby girl a few months later. I have never directly thanked Dr. Metherd for all his help, but I think now is the time to do it, I thank you Dr. Metherd for not judging me for being a young mother and the encouragement for me to continue with my schooling even though I was a young mother. I now have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice without me having to drop out of school. I also thank you for being the one who delivered my baby girl and now it's four years later, you've still never forgotten her and that amazes me because I know you've delivered a million babies by now. I also wanted to thank you for giving me advice on a procedure that was performed to help safe… my life and also for the certified letter that was sent to me to make sure that I keep up with these follow-up appointments so that I can prevent my condition from becoming worse.Words can't express how much I appreciate Dr. Metherd and his caring and compassion he has for his patients.
