Dr. Warren Polk Newton, MD

As Dr. Newton's patient for 16 yrs, he has been the primary driving force behind my healthcare through a period that I believe, most would have long since given up on me! He has remained a constant professional that I have been able to ALWAYS rely on. His level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism has truly been unsurpassed by any other physician that I have encountered over the years.....and there've been quite a few! I NEVER have to wonder what he's thinking, if he's been honest and above board with me, let alone wonder if he's just telling me what I want to hear. There is no doubt in my mind that if it were not for him, I would have LONG ago gotten lost in the fray of the medical system. I also have no doubt that he has been the most important factor in the healthcare arena over the last 16 yrs that has not just kept me alive, but allowed me to thrive at levels that might not otherwise have been possible, let alone expected. I find that he has given me strength and… courage in some of my most difficult times. He is truly a giant among men. He has spent inordinate amounts of time with me in clinic and on my case outside of clinic trying to diagnose an insidious, elusive illness that has escaped us and many others that have tried to define it. His level of respect for patients, staff and just people in general is seemingly unending. He knows when and how to be firm, and yet does so with a gentle, kind, and caring manner. If I ever had a concern about him, it would be that I know that someday, he will retire. That's gonna be . . . well, we just won't go there yet. . . :-) You won't find a better doctor, probably not a better person either. Thank you for years and years of undeserved patience, kindness, and compassion. That's meant as much to me as your skills as a physician! I've often thought that there is a real possibility that I might not have lived this long through this illness if it weren't for his level of commitment to patient care. I will always be eternally grateful.
