Dr. Warren Leslie Smith, MD

Dr. Smith has been our family doctor for 5 years and he has been my personal MD for more than 25 years. I don't know what others found to be offensive as I have found him and his staff to be very warm and even welcoming. In fact when we found my son was dying he spent hours talking to us and doing research or in giving us direction as where to seek more information.

I Have been a patient here over 25 years.I also have had my own business over 20yrs and if anyone in my office treated or spoke to customers the way Smiths office does, that staff person would be looking for a new job.

I can't praise Dr Smith highly enough. I feel so fortunate to have found him when I moved to Boulder City four years ago. He is extremely competent and actually listens to and addresses my complaints. My only problem with my appointments is that his front office staff does not measure up to his standards of quality.

Dr. Smith was highly offended I asked questions and offered nothing more than ANOTHER steroid shot and walked out on me refusing to discuss my concerns any further. I found another doctor in Henderson that bothered to diagnose my condition and treat it instead of giving me a steroid shot that makes you feel better for maybe 3 days. This was the rudest doctor I have ever seen in my life!

Dr Smith told my daughter who was abused in every way in front of my wife when we went in for cat scan on her head after her head was shoved into a wall several times that she just needs to get over it and get on with her life and get up off the couch and get a job and forget about it and the "man" who abused her. fyi the cat scan showed brain trama.

I was a patient of Dr Smith for almost 30 years. I moved away from Boulder City in 2006 and have trying to find a Dr like him for the last 10 years. Besides being one of the smartest people I have ever met, he is kind and caring and always provided excellent care for me and my family. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone that's looking for an excellent Dr and caring physician.

At least one office staff person was not friendly nor respectful. Firstly, it took several phone calls to re-request a copy of my lab results and I have yet to receive them (it's now TWO WEEKS since my original request and office visit). Secondly, my simple request for a NON-CONTROLLED substance prescription medicine was denied unless I returned for a 2nd consultation, as well as another prescription request for an issue discussed at the time of my visit. This is medically unreasonable in my opinion. It APPEARS that this physician is attempting to gauge by trying to squeeze more copays from patients than should medically be necessary. I already pay more than several hundred dollars per month for medical insurance and a significant per-visit copay.I was not impressed with my experience at this facility overall and will now have to shell out an additional copay to start over at another physician'soffice, merely to receive these two prescriptions. For those of us (patients) who pay a… lot for insurance and then get treated in this way, it leaves us no choice but to seek a more pleasant, professional experience elsewhere and spend even more money.There was ONE staffmember who WAS very capable, efficient and friendly. Two others were either blatently short with me or not very friendly/didn't seem to want to bother with me and all but hung up on me.Whatever happened to common courtesy and respect for the paying customer? Thank you, vitals.com, for giving me a venue for expressing my right of freedom of speech because I am really angry about this.

This was a new patient visit. Despite that, the exam was done fully clothed. The office staff is rushed, and at times rude. The girl in the room with him was ignorant and arrogant; terrible combination! It was a terrible experience.
