Dr. Wasique Abdulahad Narvel, MD

I was a patient of Dr Narvel for over 14 years. All was ok until I became very ill. He couldn’t care less about me. My daughter personally went to him requesting help. He told her to take me to the ER. He was in HIS OFFICE when he told her this. His staff is awful. Jeanette is rude, complacent and just downright ignorant. If a person does not want to help people, they should not work for a doctor! My daughter took me to Temple Hospital in Philadelphia. I was admitted. Only to receive a call from Dr Narvel’s office telling me that the test ordered came back good. Really? I was admitted at Temple. He never even bothered to call me! After 14 years! Despicable! Dr Narvel is a money grubbing animal and his staff is the pits. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor.

Honestly, the office staff is not always the nicest. I put up with it though because I love him! He truly cares about his patients. Take it from someone who used to work in a hospital setting, he truly is a good one. The wait time is often long, so I bring a book or something to do. I don't mind waiting to see him because he takes the time to explain everything. I am likely not the easiest patient. I bring lists and always want options, but he takes the time. When my grandmother was admitted to the hospital, I switched her GP to him. He was there within an hour to see her. It took me years to find a physician that is knowledgeable and has a good bedside manor.

Started as a great doctor, as years went by, seen changes, I guess now he has to many patients, to tk his time with patients, been going there for 20 years and to this day me being a diabetic he has never send me for a ekg stress test nothing , I took it on my own to do it, anyhow other then him being to busy now he has a pratician doctor that use to take her time to listen to the patients but that also change maybe he told her run like he runs in office , she a good doctor,

one of the most compassionate Drs. Ihave ever gone too. He spends time with you, answers all questions and putsyou at ease.

Dr Narvel is one of the nicest and compassionate Drs I have ever met!! E cares and listens to everything you say and gives advice or meds to help in any situation.. He will forever be my family Doctor!!!!!

Office nurse staff have not manner very rude and careless about questions and make next appointment . Reach the office by phone is a nightmare. You're lucky if you get to talk to a nurse. Am very disappointed of the staff Perhaps Dr Narvel is a great Doctor!

Dr. Narvel is nuts and so is his staff.... they are rude and nasty. Change doctors if you go there, your medical issues will be told

Dr. Narvel is a wonderful doctor. unfortunately his office staff is terrible. They speak to patients in a demeaning tone and behave unprofessionally. It's very difficult to get an appointment,(even if you are already a patient). They very rarely answer the phone when you call. Almost always have to leave a message, yet every time I have been there I have seen the office staff talking on their personal cell phones. Some times they don't call back till the next day if at all only to be told they are booked so go to the emergency room. Very aggravating if you are sick and need to see the doctor. I believe Dr. Narvel has taken on too many patients for one doctor. I also believe Because he is so busy he is unaware that his office staff is doing such a poor and unprofessional job.

Dr. Narvel like many doctors in this era of HMO's, etc. book their schedule to ensure they are maximized. So long waits is to be expected in any general medicine practice. I don't mind that and I know what to expect. What I don't expect is RUDE and INCOMPETENT staff (from the front receptionist to the soo-called nurse). Dr. Narvel should fire his staff and hire knowledgeable and caring staff. Staff who at least have the decency to call a patient back when they have called 3 - 4 times to request the Doctor to forward a medicine to the Pharmacy. Until Dr. Narvel addresses this issue he will continue to receive low rating not for his bedside manner but for his lack of attentiveness on Customer/Patient Service.

i hv waited hours to be seen and, not just one time. he is late all the time. i hv overheard him talking to his staff about other patient. putting them down and, laughing about them. his secretary is also, the person that take ur blood pressure and medical complaints. she doesnt know how to, take a proper blood pressure and, has no medical training. when you call the office, they dont answer the phone. i hv call for hours and, left messages,they never return my calls. you hv to press the option that ask you if your a doctor or hospital, to get someone to, answer the phone. Dr,Narvel just goes through the motions. he doest care and, it shows. if u need a Doctor keep looking. in less u hv no insurance like me and, no other doctor takes uninsured patients. for 50 dollars cash, no checks. Dr.Narvel will be happy to see you.
