Extremely qualified and knowledgeable. Friendly bedside manner. Highly recommend Dr. Blazek.

Overall a bad experience. I believe he did an unnecessary freezing procedure on me. This is based on the fact that I was just at my regular dermatologist 3 months earlier and was out-of-state for several months had surgery for basil cell carcinoma. I just went to him to follow up.

I felt that my first appointment was awkward. He just came in and asked me to point out spots & zapped me with the freeze can. Also said I had sun damage - I'm older and we did not use sunscreen back then, and I don't have a lot of wrinkles. I felt that he was very arrogant. I will not go back.

I was lucky enough to find no issues at my body check for cancer although there was those aging issues. If I had found something I would have moved from this doctor. He walked in and there was no courtesy at all......not even an introduction. He spoke sharply and rude to me the entire time and walked out.

I have been a patient of Dr. Blaszak for a number of years. I think he's terrific. When I have a concern, he listens. He has removed several cancerous skin lesions over time and has always been very professional. I like his dry sense of humor.

I went to dr blaszak a few times over a few years and I could ignore the attitude and all but the last time he removed a basal cell on my forehead it did not heal very well. I went back with concerns but was told to just give it time. About 18 months later I went to another doctor for other skin issues and when she saw the area he worked on she was more concerned with that than anything. This week I had to have surgery to remove what he missed and today I had a plastic surgeon close the wounds from the surgery. I would not recommend this guy to anyone I know. He was good for the superficial stuff that he could do in a five minute office visit but he has no interest in doing anything more. I wouldn’t trust anything he does to you removing cancerous cells.

After recently relocating to the area, I saw Dr. Blaszak for an annual mole check and asked him to specifically take a look at a couple spots I was concerned about. He was pretty arrogant and condescending even though he was speeding through our appointment as if he could not be bothered by my questions. Literally reacted to my concerns with eye-rolls and the condescending manner in which he spoke reflected so negatively on him. Even worse, before discussing my concerns or treatment options, he simply sprayed a spot with a cannister of liquid nitrogen WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR CONSENT. Terrible experience - save yourself a negative medical experience and go to another derm.

Very efficient and thorough. Asked me to come back in 3 months to check on spots that he froze today. Office was very quick to make the new appt.

I could not have been more pleased with Dr Blaszak! I felt he was very warm and personable. He listened, then examined and recommended treatment. I felt he was extremely clear and concise-which I like. I thought he was gentle and confident in his approach. I was very impressed with his professionalism. Dr Blaszak is someone I will highly recommend. I'm a nurse and a very satisfied customer.

I only came to see Dr. Blaszak to use the light box therapy in his office. I have a wonderful dermatologist in the city who I absolutely love, but I can't drive downtown three days a week to do UVB therapy. Dr. Blaszak was very rude to me when I showed him my instructions from my original dermatologist, saying that the creams he was giving me will irritate my skin even further and that some of the instructions I was given are instructions that only a witch doctor would give. Dr. Blaszak looked at my skin, saw that it was pretty clear, and said that I should just keep moisturizing and it will be fine. The only reason my skin was clear was because I was following my "witch doctors" orders, and my skin has NEVER been better. What really bothered me about Dr. Blaszak, though, is that he was very rude when I said I wanted to go through with the light therapy. He said that "it's fine because we will make more money off of you if you do it" and that I should "sign this consent form for… them to zap cancer into my skin". I understand that there are risks with UVB therapy, but the information could have been delivered in a more professional way. I don't need someone to keep telling me that I will get skin cancer every time I use the Light Box. Overall, I am sure that Dr. Blaszak knows what he was taught back in the 80's and 90's when he was going through school, but times have changed and his information needs some updating. I would not recommend him to anyone else based on his attitude, unprofessionalism, and lack of knowledge.
