Dr. Wayne Kerness, MD

I was sent to Dr. Kerness, an orthopedic surgeon, for an independent medical examination by my insurance carrier after I was involved in an auto accident. During the examination, he noticed a mole on my back that he was concerned about. He advised me to see a dermatologist, who told me I had a serious form of skin cancer that was life threatening. The dermatologist treated my skin cancer and now I am well. Thank God for Dr. Kerness who was not even my own doctor!

Spent more time with me, showed more concern and demonstrated more knowledge than my treating orthopedic surgeon.

Wait time was ridiculous and he took patients before me who arrived well after me. I was with him maybe 5 minutes and he didnt even have all the correct info regarding surgeries. As a workers comp case thats very important. So happy to be done

All of the five-star ratings for this doctor start out with the same or five words, probably written by one person, but all the negative ratings have totally different styles, probably actual ratings. this guy is semi retired doctor padding his retirement by working for an IME company, someone like Exam Works. They say Independent Medical Examiner but actually he's an Insurance Medical Examiner.

Kind, competent doctor. Efficient, courteous staff. He helped me to avoid unnecessary back surgery.

What a joke of a Dr. Nice article in the New york Times about how he has no clue about your illness or who you are, just looking for that pay day. Would not send my dog to him!!!!
