Dr. Wayne Glenn Rogers, MD

Dr. Wayne Rogers is an exceptional dermatologist. He and his team are always knowledgeable and friendly.

He told my wife her Prurigo Nodularis was caused by her OCD behavior. So not only does he claim to be a dermatologist but now he also claims to be a psychiatrist. He prescribed an anti-depressant. Go figure. Instead we applied colloidal silver and the condition completely disappeared over night. His nurse called back the next day and said that his prescription was the only way to get rid of the condition. Its always about the drugs.

This physician sprayed liquid nitrogen on my face without any explanation or forewarning. Had I known what he was going to do in advance I would have said NO! He did it so quickly I didn't even have time to object! I had 2 wks of large red peeling mess on the tip of my nose to correct what looked like a freckle. And it was not medically necessary, just elective treatment. He is irresponsible! I later found liquid nitrogen is not recommended for liver spots since it can leave a scar.

I was very disappointed with Dr. Rogers. The nurse didn't listen to my symptoms, she just told me that I had a certain condition that would go away in several months. When Dr. Rogers came in, HE DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT MY RASH. He literally came in for 1 minute, signed off on a prescription, and shut me down when I asked him more questions insisting that he knew what he was talking about. Turns out, he did give me the completely wrong diagnosis-- probably because he didn't take two seconds to double check and look at my rash. It was completely unethical for him to make a diagnosis based on the nurse's opinion. I spent time and a lot of time/ money, and now (a year and a half later) I am spending more money to solve a problem that is still there and has gotten worse. Every time I would call with concern over the rash, the staff told me to "wait it out" because it will go away--very rudely might I add. Please avoid Dr. Rogers at all cost.

I had been suffering with a scalp infecion and had lost a great deal of hair. Dr. Rogers spent about 2 minutes total with this visit. From 3 feet away he looked at my scalp and wrote down the word trichohllmania and handed it to me. He then told me that this was his diagnosis and that it is an OCD disorder and that he would be happy to write a letter to a psychiatrist so that I could get the right medication. I asked him if be would look at it under a microscope and why was he so sure of this and he arrogantly said that he knew it because he is a specialist. I said please look at the circular patterns all over my scalp. I do not have OCD. He literally walked out leaving me in tears. Later I googled the condition and it is an obsessive disorder in which a person pulls out their own hair. There were pictures and none showed the distinct pattern of my condition. I have never been seen by such an incompetent doctor. Not to mention the disrespect. It was a waste of time and money.

Wow......I am amazed at the difference in these reviews! They are either really good or very bad. Don't know you or what to believe. But I'm going in for light therapy treatment next week and I will definitely be fair and realistic with my assignment and comments after my visit.

Have been to MANY dermatologists and never have any of them been the quality of Dr. Wayne Rogers. His expertise in diagnosing my daughter for some skin conditions and quick methods of treating them were excellent. His kind manner in explaining the diagnosis and answering questions was a breath of fresh air compared to so many other physicians. Also, when some of the 'better known' dermatologists make it incredibly hard to get an appointment by requiring referrals and waiting for months, even in a desperate situation, Dr. Wayne Rogers' office made it painless and quick to get an appointment. We'll be going back and even I am making an appointment for myself. That's how impressed we were. Side note, I am a medical sales rep and a doctor's daughter, so am extensively familiar with a quality and a non-quality physician, so this review comes with high expectations that were surprisingly met.

The best overall experience i have had with any type of health care professional. The office is extremely oganized and professional!

i got an appointment the same day and the time i wanted. although, he only spent 2 seconds before his nurses started cutting on me. i feel he is a coward and is in it for the money.

I felt the office visit with Dr. Wayne Roger's was a complete waste of time and money. Dr. Rogers was very professional and caring towards me, however, his nurse was cold and impatient towards me. She didn't even say hello or smile when she called my name. When I had a simple question to ask, she didn't attempt to try to find the answers for me. The check-out staff was unfriendly and cold with me, too. I used to see Dr. Roger's four years and drove an hour for the appointments because the service was great, but coming back to his office recently it's a big waste for me. I feel bad for the Doctor because he's great, but I do not want to be treated cold, disrespectful, and uncaring attitudes by his staff.
