Dr. Wen I Lin

Went in with a slow stream, without any more than a urine test was told I needed the laser surgery in hospital, outpatient, $500 plus hospital costs of @ $12,000, it was fine for @ 2 weeks. After that it slowed down to less than before, was called in for a checkup, tried to open it up in the office. He butchered it, told me i needed another laser in hospital??????????? Office and rooms are messy, stay away from this place. Never had the second.

The doctor was fine but some of the practices are old, slow, inefficient, and inconvenient. The desk has tons of files stacked everywhere. Ever heard of paperless? Looks like they could lose my info with ease. THEY ONLY TAKE CASH! I have a HSA/FSA and the fact that they don't take anything but cash and checks is idiotic. When I paid my bill all they had to do was give me a quarter in change. No one had it. You only accept cash and you don't have change. Again idiotic. I had a prostate exam and when the doc was done he tossed the dirty glove into an open trash can full of gloves covered in feces and god knows what else. How about a biohazard bin chief. In short this place was an old fashion mess and was more like a taxidermy office than a doctor's office.

Had my second green light laser with him and he did a remarkable job.

This doctor told me I had to have a cystoscopy (bladder scope) and with no further explanation, sent me to a hospital for "pre-op" to be put under for the procedure. After undergoing "pre-op" for which I am being charged over $500 out of pocket, I found out that this procedure is typically done in the doctor's office without having to be put under! Dr. Lin was dishonest in not informing me of a choice - I went to another urologist who performed the procedure right in his office - it took 5 minutes! This doctor was totally dishonest with me for his own financial gain and was willing for me to take the risk of being put under needlessly.

I had a vasectomy performed there and I don't recommend it to anyone else. He uses the older scapel method and sent me off without any advice as to how to care for myself or what to expect. I have had to educate myself or call repeatedly to get my questions answered. Go to a modern physician and save yourself the pain.

Disorganized office, cluttered, patients files all over the place and available for patients to read, and staff seemed confused and disorganized. No privacy, able to hear comments made to other patients, they do not follow the HIPA guidelines (confidentiality).
