I have been seeing this doctor? for a year as my primary care. She only once put her hands on me and that was the last visit when I said something. She took my blood pressure which the nurse had already done. She told me to undress from wast down for vaginal exam . She never touched nor swabbed or anything...except to look and say it "it looks fine, get dressed". She ordered lab work..refused to write either of my prescriptions, neither one a narcotic.

Her yearly physical consisted of asking me if I was depressed. Asked if I could take care of myself and asked me to walk to the door and back. Told me to come back in six months. When I questioned her about my prescription for hypertension she became abrupt. I asked her what I had done to upset her and she stated "nothing", but her tone said differently.

Her idea of a physical is talking to you. When she pointed to my belly and asked how it was instead of actually palpating my belly to check for abnormalities, I decided at that moment never to return.in addition, she is always in a hurry. Furthermore, her communication on mychart is limited. I would avoid her, especially if you have a real medical problem.

NEVER come to this doctor. She told me my ears were fine without even looking at them. Her nurse asked me to do a strep test throat swab on MYSELF. No reasonable nurse asks that. Maybe it was because I am self pay?

Well. I am an RN that works in an ICU. I booked an appointment with her because I needed a new PCP for an annual physical for work and also had fallen on a rusty nail. The first thing she did was tell me I looked too young to be an RN, which was kind of funny, because she looked like she was 17. She went through all the obligatory questions, and when it got to my reproductive health, I told her I was having an increase in menstrual pains, cramps, explained how irregular I was (I had it documented), passing clots, period having no regular cycle. She told me that was normal. I asked if I needed a pelvic exam, and she said I only needed a pelvic exam every three years, so I didn't need one. She then asked to look at my leg where I cut myself. She disdainfully looked at it and said, that looks like nothing. Well, I had a surgeon friend clean it earlier and demanded I get a tetanus, even though it didn't need stitches bc I knew I cut it on a rust nail. A surgeon with 30 years experience.… Oh...and I waited the amount of time she recommended to get another pelvic exam. But I went to a different dr because I didn't like Dr Albands dismissive behavior. Loved the new Dr, explained my symptoms and she gave me a pelvic exam and instantly made me an appointment for an intravagina ultrasound. The news? I had a cancer scare for four days, then found out I have an orange sized fibroid that's compressing my left ureter. And I most likely need a hysterectomy. I don't have children yet, now I may not be able to. Really, really wish Dr. Alband hadn't brushed me off a year and a half ago. Because then it would have been smaller and my options would have been better. So my review...she didn't realize I could get tetanus from a rusty nail, so she basically made me feel like an idiot for asking for one and if she had been more diligent...maybe I wouldn't have fertility issues. I had a terrible experience with dr wendy f alband in norfolk virginia. She lied about reviewing my records, and never returned them to me. I'm still trying to get my records back. She did not examine me even after 3 visits. Told me that I'm a liar hypochondriac junkie, not in those words but that's how she explained my situation. I've never felt so dehumanized and humiliated before. Then she tried to refer me to an arthritis specialist when I came in for fibromaialgia. I'm going to be switching to natural herbal remedies like magnesium and probiotic because I've lost all trust in doctors.

She's young and unfamiliar with many conditions.
