Dr. Wendy Rona Parish, MD

I called to make an appointment for my brother as he has been sick and I was told he had to make the appt. himself, when my brother got on the phone the secretary was very rude and kept questioning him about his insurance after he told her several time that he has medicare.

I was given my diagnosis by the receptionist, who also gave me medical advice regarding treatment which was - "put the cream on until the rash goes away". When I asked to speak to the doctor, I was told that she does not speak to anyone over the phone and I can make another appointment if I want to talk to her. Totally unethical, unprofessional and unacceptable; and probably reportable to the NPDB. Stay away from this provider.

Very condescending...poor bedside manner. Knowing I had severe skin cancer, she refused to talk to me on the phone or call me back..she made her office staff do her dirty work for her! Office floors were filthy like they haven’t been cleaned in years. Very indecisive. Office staff was pleasant is the only good thing about the practice .

I'm not sure what kind of medical care these other reviewers were expecting! Dr. Parish has been seeing my daughter and me for several years now. Neither of us are generally fond of doctors but love Dr. Parish. She is intelligent, pleasant and concerned about the whole patient. That extra concern helped my daughter get life changing assistance with a non-dermatological condition. It is easy to get an appointment with her. We have never experienced wait times even close to what we have with most doctors. Yes, her personality is a bit quirky at times, but never at all unprofessional! We enjoy that human touch very much. She does not biopsy things without the patient's consent. That can come across as indecision on her part, but it is not. She simply is not patronizing the way many specialists are. If you are not sufficiently numbed, it is because you did not let her know as she asked several times. Because my daughter had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Parish, we also have a… good idea of what she is like with other patients. My daughter was impressed with Dr. Parish's ability to adapt to patient needs and different personalities, her compassion with those battling cancer, her knowledge, and her skill. Please don't wait to get an appointment with someone else. Just get your needs met quickly and competently with Dr. Parish!

Dr Parish is thorough, gentle and has a great bedside manner. I've seen her several times and had different procedures. She explains things very well and always answers my questions with patience and detail. I have complete faith in her.I would recommend her. I never have to wait in her office. Her staff is courteous and pleasant.

Terrible Doctor - should have left her a long time ago.

Professional, personable, and friendly.

This doctor is out to lunch..terrible communication skills and all she did was push some toxic cream for everything. She must have bought stock in it. Very flustered, possibly high on who knows what, doctor. I would not recommend this dizball under any circumstances.

I found Dr parish to be an excellent doctor. Very thorough and gentle. She spent quite a bit of time with me and reviewed all my test results in detail. She answered all my questions. Her staff is friendly and courteous. Her follow up was timely. She also has a very good bedside manner. I would be happy to refer her.
