Dr. Wenlu Wendy Xiong

Dr. Wenlu Xiong, is by far the worst physicians in medicine. As a cancer patient this is the last thing that I would have expected. Her lack of interest, compassion and knowledge on any level are impermissible. She is rude, belittling, imperious and condescending. It is apparent that she takes pride in wearing pompous and arrogant proudly on her sleeve thereby leaving the patient helpless. I was astounded by her cocky demeanor in challenging chief of staffs at other top reputable hospitals. She had the audacity to question me as to why I was even at her visit. She followed in saying there was absolutely nothing wrong when all of my medical records and labs showed dangerously abnormal levels. Hence the Reason why department heads needed me to see a rheumatologist for a complete workup. I was told by her to go back to my primary or oncologist and if they sent me to her they were no good. These were the same physicians that consulted with the top specialists in the country to save my… life. And then follows in saying it could be WORSE. Her display in character is the pendulum opposite of EVERYTHING that Rush has prided themselves throughout the years. Especially as Rush sets the bar for patient care and understanding. Clearly Dr. Xiong needs to revisit her professional YouTube and remind herself as to why she initially chose medicine. My advice to anyone in need of a rheumatologist is to run far from Dr. Xiong. It will be the biggest mistake, waste of time, money and energy. I do not want anyone walking away feeling as I did, which was completely defeated. If there were negative stars she would certainly be deserving. Thank you for allowing me to share with you my review.
