Dr. Whitney L Sharp, DO

Dr. Sharp and her associates are not helpful at all. I needed paperwork for a FMLA and she would not sign it because as she says "I do not sign FMLA paperwork for periods" I have debilitating fibroids and do not believe in having operations if at all possible. It is clear she has forgotten the Hippocratic Oath! I will make it a point to tell every woman I work with not to use her practice.

My daughter is a patient of this group (all 4 of my children were delivered by these doctors) they are all fantastic except for Dr Sharp. She was rude, insensitive and condescending. I was shocked by how she spoke and treated my daughter. Dr. Sharp completely disregarded her feelings and seemed annoyed when we asked questions. I went along with her to ask a few questions about my daughter's pregnancy. When I said that I had a few questions she rolled her eyes and said "I figured" My daughters husband said every time they saw Dr. Sharp she was extremely rude and lacked any compassion.

I have been a patient of this office over 20 yrs, with the most amazing, trusted care. Due to staffing issues, I was given my yearly appointment with Dr Sharp. I left in tears, with the feeling my health and me as a person was just a disregarded of a person. The care she gave me was uncompassionant & my concerns ignored, along with the information provided to me was untrue as I seeked out care from another Dr.

She becomes aggressive (tone and body language) easily. Over the course of 3 visits, she refused to hear questions, concerns, or ask questions to understand why I would not want the treatment offered. She also ran a test without getting consent, or even asking questions to determine if it was necessary. Do not see her for Birth Control reasons, she only seems to care about her patients are having children (based on the 5 star reviews).

Terrible doctor. Gave up on me and told me I had to get a c section when she just didn’t want to be at the hospital anymore. I was fully dilated and pushed for an hour and a half before she used the vacuum on me without my consent. I had a c section and lost too much blood and almost died. Never saw her after the c section, residents took over my care . I now suffer from ptsd from my c section. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to my worst enemy. They don’t treat the patients like people , they treat them like cattle. Run ladies.

I kept coming back for several years but will never return again. She did not ever take the time to really answer questions, listen to my concerns, nor my complete OBGYN history. She jumped to conclusions and became irritable when I did not immediately agree with her. Several times her staff was incredibly rude to me, and more than once I left in tears. The last time was just too much. I expected a female DO to have more understanding, like my previous OBGYN before I moved here. If you value your health and mental well-being, do not go to this doctor.

Hurried, rushed, just a number. does not care.

One of the worst OBGYN's in the Dayton area. Does not spend any time with her patients nor does she listen to your questions or concerns. I left the office crying and felt I had nothing accomplished.

Dr. Sharp has always been efficient, to the point, and sympathetic to concerns with options to tackle them depending on the patient's comfort. I appreciate her ability to quickly gauge the needs of the patient and move forward without missing a beat on a change up in the current plan.

I feel very comfortable with Dr Sharp, she is kind, caring, knowledgeable and I feel very confident of her knowledge and expertise in her field. She I'd by far my favorite doctor.
