Dr. Wilbert Bernard Pino, MD

He told my husband he had nothing wrong with him and it was all in his head. He had numbness and tingling from pinching in his neck. They had done an MRI of neck and shoulder and he said there was no way his neck was the problem. He told him to take narcotics and deal with it. Well... Saw Dr. Beck in Mason City who took one look at his MRI and surgery a few days later! His symptoms were much improved after surgery and no more numbness and tingling. If a doctor wants to put a band-aid on the problem and not search for a solution then they are not worth your time! Find a doctor who will put some effort in rather than just try to mask the problem with medications!

Dr. Pino operated on our then 13 year old son who had broken his leg in a soccer accident in 2010. Dr. Pino's expertise at surgically repairing his leg has allowed our son to continue his soccer career. Dr. Pino and his staff were always friendly, spent quality time with us at each visit, explained what was next in the process and we would highly recommend Dr. Pino without hesitation. I waited over an hour to see this person and then had to leave because I had to pick up my daughter. The staff and the doctor were rude and have no bedside manner

Bad News-Very Unprofessional!

With full Insurance and bounced around to 5 doctors, Dr. Pino's office REFUSED to see me over a $50 CO-PAY. I am unable to work because of a broken elbow. When I promised to pay next visit I was still denied access to be treated. When I see the commercials on TV how people aren't getting the health-care they need w/o insurance, I now know how they feel. The office staff were NOT concerned and REFUSED to work with me on a MEASLY $50. Petty if you ask me, I should have keyed his Mercedes........
