Dr. Willa Michelle Terry, MD

Michelle Terry, MD, is an attending physician and clinical associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Terry received her MD from Baylor College of Medicine, and trained in pediatrics at the University of Washington and Seattle Childrens residency program. Her clinical interests include general inpatient pediatric medicine, medical education, and advocacy. Terry is a member of the College Faculty that teaches clinical skills to second-year medical students at the UW School of Medicine and mentors students throughout their medical school careers. Her research interests include strategies to improve the diversity of physician-scientist personnel through her work with the UW Institute for Translational Health Sciences (ITHS), funded by the NIH Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA). Her advocacy interests include providing medical care coordination to children in foster care and promoting early learning experiences for all …children. She serves on the board of Child Care Resources and is a member of the King County Children and Family Commission.
