Dr. William Orlan Akin, MD

Many family members of mine have seen Dr.Akin throughout the years.I will tell you one thing Dr’s like Dr Akin are very Special and Rare!His heart ?? is pure gold and the only Dr in town when my kids were little who stopped there painful ear aches which kept me up many of nights watching both my babies agony my pediatrician at the time was great however the ear infections persisted my Aunt Hope Sandoval his patient said take them to Dr Akin I bet he will help them and ow he did just that they stopped completely after he did surgery til this day no more ear infections they are 29&27!My Ins was BCBS at that time.I was short 350 of my deductible for surgery I was stressing my son had a ruptured ear drum with the last infection and he (Dr Akin said “It’s about helping the patient not the money”!”Have you ever had an ear infection”? They are very painful!I will NEVER EVER FORGET THAT because I was to proud to accept but I felt his sincerity & kindness and graciously accepted to pay it out… after surgery!Come that time to catch up the balance Della was his Sweet Nurse and Secretary as I proceeded to pay some of it she said you have no balance!I said yes ma’am I do she said Dr Akin took care of it I about passed out only God knew how bad I was struggling at the time and used Dr Akin to cure my kids and bless us at the same time!Never will I forget Dr Akin!I seen him myself for chronic bronchitis later in life many years ago!God Bless Dr Akin! My most sincere appreciation Treena Gotelaere &Family!
