I am deeply grateful to Dr Armstrong, his wonderful supportive medical staff, along with Doctors Allen Chen, Nelson Lowe and many others who provided the most professional overall care that I could ever expect. I am a cancer survivor all because of this fine team of professionals for my specific type of cancer. I am indeed fortunate

Dr Armstrong is the best and I feel he is real dedicated, educated and experienced at curing my type of cancer. I am greatful he is working my problem!!

this doctor should not be a doctor, he doesnt meet compassionate wants of a patient. rude and works for the insurance company

He's very demanding especially if you are a women without a male presence, a bully. If you ask questions he is rude and demeaning. It's your body and your life.

Dr. Armstrong was my surgeon for squamas cell carcinoma (cancer) of the gums and jawbone. His work was absolutely amazing, he is diligent in follow-up appointments, and he is an intelligent, remarkably skilled, and wonderful surgeon. I am now a cancer survivor because of him, and I am truly grateful to be his patient!!!

As a Cancer Patient, when I choose not to have radical surgery, and opted for chemotherapy, he would not refer me to an Oncology doctor for Chemotherapy at the Choa Cancer Center. He said in a loud threatening bully voice" it's not going to do you any good now". He demanded, You have to take this medication", Fentanyl. Run, Don't walk especially if you are a women, get a second opinion. He is too radical surgery crazy. He's not a compassionate doctor.

Almost 2 yrs ago, at 48yrs of age, I was Dx'd with Oral CA. I had none of the typical risk factors & was in a state of utter shock & disbelief. As it was staged at T2, the possibility of metastasis necessitated the subsequent Partial Glossectomy & Mod Rad Neck Dissection/ Cerv Lymphandectomy. My husband transformed from medical professional to shocked & panicked spouse. Dr. Armstrong & his team of residents handled US masterfully. Dr. A's "bedside manner" was exceptional, whether pre op when explaining the extensive surgical proc., the day of surgery in his way of handling my family & of course throughout the 3 day hospital stay (his residents mostly). I have recovered magnificently, the huge ear to mid neck scar only faintly visible, slight residual numbing lower neck/ jaw area & so far...cancer free! I had options (UCLA & Cedars) at which much more extensive SX recomennded, including tongue grafting. We clearly made the right choice with Dr. Armstrong & his Otolaryngology Dep't at… UCI Med Center. BLC & BBC
