Dr. Balcom lacks people skills. We are more than an x-ray, we are people. He needs training in dealing with patients.

I was a little nervous but Dr. Balcom was very efficient and gentle. I received a cortisone shot and didn't feel a thing.

WENT TO DR BALCOM FOR PROBLEMS WITH KNEE WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE OVERALL VISIT IT IS COMFORTING TO KNOW THERE IS STILL A DOCTOR WHO SPENDS THE TIME WITH THE PATIENT AT HAND NOT A QUICK FORMAL IN AND OUT ALSO HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AT A LEVEL WHICH WAS VERY CLEAR TO PATIENT TO UNDERSTAND

I had suffered for many years with a bad knee, after trying all possible options, I decided on having my knee replaced. Dr. Balcom did an excellant job and I'm glad he was the person to perform the operation.The incision Dr. Balcom makes is half the length of what most other Doctors perform. The first time I went for PT, the tech said, Oh, you had Dr. Balcom. She also commented on the fact that his patients have a faster recovery rate than patients from other Doctors. I'm now able to go to the gym and workout on the treadmill and do other cardio exercises. All due to the skills of Dr. Balcolm.

TRue Dr Balcom is curt and to the point but he knows his stuff - leave it to the nurses to coddle our feelings and aleviate the pain

I found Dr.Balcom very thorough explaining my surgery to me as well as doing the surgery!! (perfection) follow up..he spends time with you to answer any questions and he is very busy so a little wait is worth the wait!!!
