Dr. Barber is hands down the greatest surgeon ever. He is also one of the kindest most compassionate people I have ever met. His surgical skill is unparalleled and undeniable. I question the sanity of anyone who would think otherwise. Dr. Barber, his partners, and his entire staff are amazing. This practice is truly one-of-a-kind. If you need a breast surgeon, look no further than this practice.

Dr. Barber should be your first and only choice for breast surgery. I have had breast cancer twice (2011 & 2018). My first experience -- with a large breast care group in ATL -- was not a good experience by any means. I found Dr. Barber and I couldn't believe the difference. Virtually no waiting time vs. waits that sometimes ran as long as 5 hours, for starters. Dr. Barber is thoughtful, personable, kind, and wants to know you as a whole person, not just a person with a disease. I've never felt more cared for and confident in a health care provider. But all of that is secondary to his professionalism and surgical skill. Even after decades of practice, he is still actively learning and studying his profession and will share the latest findings with his patients. His office staff all follow his example -- it's an extraordinary team. If you need breast surgery, it's worth the drive to Piedmont to see Dr. Barber, even if it's not a convenient location for you. You will be glad you chose… Dr. Barber.

I have never met a more compassionate and skilled surgeon in my life. Dr. Barber is truly one of a kind. I can not recommend him enough! His whole staff is outstanding as well. His nurse Jennifer is so kind and knowledgeable. It was an overall great experience.

I was 1st referred to Dr. Barber in 2014 and at my 1st visit I must admit I was anxious as most women are when they're confronted with the possibility of breast cancer. As I waited for him to enter the room, I noticed a scripture he had on his wall -upon reading this scripture (can't remember the words exactly but it was a passage from Proverbs) immediately I felt a peace and calmness that came all over me. I knew I was in good hands and that God had placed me in Dr. Barber's care. His level of concern and care was amazing. His PA Kristy Donaldson was amazing as well. The entire staff was amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Barber to anyone facing such a difficult challenge with breast cancer.

Great breast surgeon ever!

Dr. Barber is an exceptional physician. His calm and caring manner gave me peace of mind during a very difficult time. I highly recommend him! In addition, that caring carries over to all of the staff. Everyone I encountered was professional and caring.

Dr. Barber and his staff have treated me for over 6 years for breast cancer and surgery to remove the cancer. He spent much time with me to explain the procedure, potential outcomes, my choices, recuperation, etc. He even wheeled me to the surgical center when it was time for my surgery! Follow-up has been consistent and thorough. His assistant, Anna DeRiso, has been just as conscientious in my progress since the surgery. I have had the best with Dr. Barber and his staff. I am most grateful for them.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Barber and his staff. He is so kind, personable, knowledgeable, and skilled. My appointments have always been on time. If I have a special situation, they squeeze me in the same day or next. Dr. Barber did my lumpectomy and you can't even see my scar. He's called me a few times to check up and if I run into him in the halls, he feels like an old friend. He introduces himself as Bill Barber, not Dr. Barber. You will be so happy you went here!
