Dr. William Morgan Barnes, DC

I was in Florida for the winter and this practice came highly recommended. Care was less than optimal. I am a BC patient and on initial visit Dr. Barnes ( who by the way did not introduce himself) was more interested in having me speak with a collegue doing reseach on using cannibis for breast cancer treatment ( cost was extremely high ) I just received my EOB.. the initial visit I was charged $123.00 for assessment the bill showed another $80.00 for manipulation and another 2 fees for application of TENS unit and heat pack. I did follow up for 4 more visits in hopes the care improved. Each visit, after tens application I spent no more than 5 minutes with the Dr. He used a drop table...dropped me 2-3 times and that was it. I had a wonderful Chiropractor in NJ who did actual physical manipulation and spend a good 20-30 minutes each visit. So I did have quality care to compare to. My last 2 visits another doc came in ( no introduction) and did exact same treatment. He was more… interested in letting me know the amount of patients they see each day. Do your homework and research the type of care before going to this group I also realized there are a few double charges in my EOB and I will be notifying Medicare

I went to this Chiropractor because of the positive reviews on the Website. All 5s. But what I encountered was without a doubt one of the worst experiences in my lifetime. Why the dichotomy, I have no idea, other than he filled the recommendations with his family and friends. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appt at 1130 am. I wan not seen until after 1 pm isolated in his back office until he decided to see me. The lady at the front desk made me pay in advance $52.00 even though my copay was $20. And she was the only one who prepared me for the Doctor by doing the advanced screening. I assume she must have been his wife judging by her controlling actions. When he arrived to the cubical, he did not introduce himself or say hello. After several moments of silence, he told me he would adjust my back. I had the results of a CScan and an MRI of my lower back that indicated I had stenosis of the lower back affecting L 2,3,4, 5. He didn't give me a chance to disclose this… information to him. I found this behavior to be very unprofessional and irresponsible. He adjusted my back. The adjustment made my back much worst. And he offered me no further appointment. He told me to cross my knee and the problem would go away. Extremely unfriendly and barren atmosphere by the entire staff.

I made an unscheduled visit to Dr Barnes yesterday with a back pain that felt like someone was sticking a sword in my back. I’m a big guy 6ft 260 pounds. The doctor said it was going to hurt and it did and he fixed it. They got me in there even though they were extremely busy. I have nothing but good things to say about the doctor and his group
