25 Years with Dr. Basari to get soo misdiagnosed. Nurses are terrible they never answer phone tell you hes triple booked and they will ask permission to add you but doubts it. I had gallbladder surgery and couldnt keep anything in , no one ever called me back.when I saw him he never even lifted my shirt listened to bowel sounds squinting trying to read comp. Hes good for millions of handout of low food map diet. Even ended up in Emergency.Since hes never there you get to explain everything all over again to his many PA’S. Who then mislead you. They cant even tell you correct info on getting a test then nurses ask you to call hospitals. One week to get test only to get it without the drink I needed. Even my pharmacy called saying what they sent makes no sense and no one answers phone. Another five days later to resolve and are still calling in refills for one time script. This all while I am wearing maternity clothing due to size of my stomach three to four bowel movements a day. Went… back to surgeron who said go back to Basari and ask what he planned to do about amount of solid stool in my decending colon that shouldnt be there. When I saw PA she refused to look at ct scan just read diagnosis and said Thats just an interpation.Had to beg her attitude for xray.Got Xray back large amount of stool .I have soo much pain and bloating even my primary Dr was OMG your distention he ordered ultrasound. No one ordered Ct scan nothing you have to fight for it. Then after finally getting appt they called morning of the which was soon and cancelled PA needed to cover hospital another week away for nxt appt.. I think if hes going to do research and not care he needs stop seeing pats. He put bandaids like useless over the counter stuff and not to get to the root of the problem. Even tried pushing the prompt to get someone and got call from Dr told him how sick I was after gallbladder removal said someone will call you back. Still waiting.

Dr. Basri is very personable, takes time with his patients and allows for the patient to ask questions which he takes the time to answer.

DO NOT go to this doctor. Unprofessional and Unethical are understatements. He performed a colonoscopy on my mother, couldn't complete the procedure due to an obstruction, sent her for a virtual colonoscopy, then went on vacation, knowing there was something wrong. When she called for the results, the office help, annoyed, told her he would get back to her after he returns from vacation. When she informed them she would be getting the reports herself, the doctor called her within ten minutes and told her, over the phone, she had colon cancer. She had to wait a week to learn this, when he had the diagnosis two days after the procedure and didn't inform another physician, in his office, to follow up immediately. This "Doctor" took an oath to serve his patients, and knew something was wrong immediately, yet still went to California, and didn't have the decency to notify another doctor in his practice to care for his patient. THANK GOD we found a great surgeon, who took excellent… care of her at Capital Health in Pennington, NJ. This "Doctor" should find another profession.

One of the kindest and caring doctors I've ever encountered. I love that he treats my mom (patient) with upmost respect and care. He never rushes her and takes time to answer all of her questions. I wish more doctors were like him. When your parent is fighting for their life...they need someone like Dr. Basri by their side.

Dr. Basri is extremely caring and takes his time in explaining things to you. He does not make you feel rushed. He also will check with other doctors to make sure his diagnosis is acurate before unnecessarily alarming you. His treatment of my Barrets Esophagus is right on target and I am doing great with it.

I would highly recommend Dr. Basri to anyone looking for a gastroenterologist. He and his office staff were the best I have every encountered in 49 years. They were professional, caring and extremley efficient. Dr. Basri is a great listener and truly made me feel that my visit, health and emotional well being were the primary focus.

impossible to get through to this office. it is truly a shame since dr. basri is so wonderful. i had to leave a message for the receptionist, 2 hours later, no response. called again, left on hold for 15 minutes! wow. don't know if i will go back just because the staff is so hard to work with

Dr.Basri is an absolutely wonderful doctor- intelligent with a concerned, professional demeanor, good listening ability, and a gentle office "bedside manner". I saw him for several years, had several gastro procedures by him, and would never hesitate to highly recommend him! I have not been to see him in a few years- so I cannot write about recent office waits but my experiences in past were always good. One of the few regrets I have about moving to the west coast is losing him as a physician. Good physicians such as him can be hard to find -those with the right combination of thoughfulness, caring, and high quality treatment.

I have been with this doctor for quite sometime, he treated my condition which a positive outcome considering the average success rate was less than favorable. This man is a caring compassionate physician and I would recommend him anytime.
