I was VERY IMPRESSED with Dr Benedict!! He was VERY PERSONABLE, VERY THOROUGH, and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE about all the different diseases of the eye. I felt VERY COMFORTABLE and in good hands.

Dr Benedict is very experienced in what he was doing to help me on my issue. The surgery went smoothly and post surgery visits is scheduled responsively.

Dr. Benedict explained the procedure, possible problems that could occur, recovery experience, timing of knowledge of final outcome results up to a year to 18 months with great patience and care in terms I understand. I highly recommend him for your Retina care needs.

Dr. Benedict first diagnosed my daughter's retina degeneration when she was 13. We clearly had been dealing with a syndrome that affected many body systems but no one had been able to name. With this new puzzle piece of information, he sent us to the one person in our state whose specialty is genetic syndromes that affect the eyes. Since then, I (Mom) have stayed current with every development re this syndrome where research has blossomed in recent years. When we go for my daughter's annual visit, Dr. Benedict asks for updates, reads a journal paper I bring for him, etc. It's refreshing to have a doctor who recognizes he cannot be current on extremely rare syndromes to the same degree that an intelligent parent can who has interest in only one.
