Dr Bugbee picked up the phone himself and called me with the good news re. My wife.

Dr. Bugbee is hands down the best ortho surgeon in this area and by far the most personable/friendly I have met (and I’ve met a LOT). I just had my second meniscus repair completed by Dr. Bugbee and if I’m being perfectly honest- getting my wisdom teeth removed had a worse recovery than both knee surgeries combined. My first one literally had ZERO scaring also, I mean NONE and I doubt I’ll have any for this one either. Bugbee’s entire staff is just as friendly/helpful and Scripps is just the best hospital around here IMO. If you want a fantastic surgeon, that is friendly and makes you feel at ease, and a breeze of recovery, Dr. Bugbee is your best bet by far.

Put cadaver bone in me , but 2 screws in to hold in place, nothing else, 8 months later the screws backed out of holding down the bone and chewed up the whole knee.

After waiting 3 months to get an appointment, he totally rushed through it. He was annoyed and impatient with my questions. And when he would answer my questions it was some condescending answer. I respected and appreciated his diagnosis however the delivery was rude and arrogant. I don't need to be babied but I would like to be treated as a competent adult, not some idiot.

I need to have full knee replacement on both of my knees. I did one I was scared. I started walking in less than 24 hours. No pain at all. I will definitely refer someone to Dr. Bugby. He is the best and his staff works fast and are very friendly.

Love his work and ethics! He listened to me and make appropriate decisions regarding my care.

Great personality, puts you at ease. Even though I was getting shots in my knees, some what painful I feltmcomfortablemwith his knowsledge. A pro in my opinion, funny at times too. Refreshing

You better hope nothing happens to go wrong when the surgery is over, because you will not receive any sort of help, except ignoring that the problem exists and passing you on. Won't/can't admit that he can do something wrong and when questioned about it, wants to know who might have said he made a mistake.

Really arrogant guy. No compassion. Spends absolutely minimal amount of time with patients. You will be a hip or knee to this man; not a human being.

Technically excellent. But you are just a knee/hip to this man. No compassion. Considers himself too important to see or talk with you. Tough luck if you have post-op problems or pain. You won't hear from him.
