If you are looking for a new doctor, find someone else. There was no result notification at all; to receive any response from the doctor/the office, you will need to call for many times. You will still getting silence after reaching out multiple times.

In 2015, I went to the Bryn Mawr office and saw Dr. Carter for breast pain. Their level of concern was minimal. They told me I had fibrocystic breasts, that it was not likely cancer, and they sent me for an incredibly painful mammogram. I called them six times after that, hoping for some relief from my pain. After my sixth call, Dr. Carter called me back and said all he could do was tell me take some Vitamin E. If that didn't work, I should return to my OB-GYN and ask for birth control to help moderate hormonal changes that can exacerbate the pain. Either way, they needed mammograms every six months to "monitor" the situation. Neither Vitamin E nor birth control pills worked. The medication created depression, worsened by chronic pain, so I had to take myself off of it. It's 2019 now. I religiously had twice-a-year mammograms and - still - no one calls me back. Living in worsening pain every day for five years has made my life miserable, depressed, and thrown my anxiety through… the roof. When my insurance plan denied one of their "diagnostic-coded" mammograms, I refused to pay and asked for my medical records. Reading through them, I see that they peg me at less than 10% chance of breast cancer. Then why all the tests? To line their own pockets. If they're not concerned about cancer, why send a woman in pain - who they refuse to help - for tests that only cause more pain? And then do absolutely NOTHING with the information those tests provide. If lining their pockets were the objective, they could have at least put in a tiny bit more effort and tried to HELP. Now I have no answers, I'm facing a lifetime of pain. I have a $2,800 bill for a mammogram that will eventually damage my credit. And I have no support, and no light at the end of the tunnel. Honestly - you're better off getting an opinion from someone on Facebook or a rando in line at the grocery store. You'll get better treatment and maybe a little compassion. Maybe.

This practice is associated with the dismal Barbara Brodsky Breast Center, a place that inspires little confidence. Having had several failed cancer surgeries here I cannot recommend.

Was diagnosed with a 6.3 cm tumor and 9 cancerous lymph nodes - apparently "missed" on annual mammograms by this practice for over 5 years based on type and growth rate of tumor. Received call from Dr. Carter with the news of extensive cancer and stated he would have a nurse navigator call me the following day for care plan?! That was his level of concern! So much for "walking the journey" with his patients! Took no responsibility for misdiagnosis or severity of situation. I have moved on to University of Pennsylvania where doctors seem more competent.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Carter, his nurse and the Endocrine Clinic at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. He was caring, professional, took time to listen and explain. He fixed a 'botched' previous surgery that I had. He is wonderful and so is Moffitt. They get it!

Dr. Carter was my surgeon for thyroid cancer, my thyroid was removed. He was very patient with me and understood my issues. His nurse was awesome. He is easy to see. Getting tests and bloodwork at the cancer center is slow, but remember everyone there has cancer, or may have cancer. The wait for those things may be long. The endocrine doctors try to be on time. I don't know how they do it. Didn't care much for the Gastro Intestinal group, they weren't as wonderful. The nurses were awesome.

trying to nake an appointment is NEXT to impossible. The office workers are rude when asking questions and if you don'tknow he answer treat you like you are stupid.I am a72 year old high school educuated woman. I do not know medical terms and and needed some help. No one was even willing to help. I am VERY dissapointed in the whole expericnce with Moffitt
