Dr. William Francis Deegan III, MD

Dr Deegan successfully treated my Choroidal Melanoma at Virginia Hospital Center in 2016. He provided excellent care then and continues to do so. My highest recommendation. Much better that traveling to New York or Philadelphia.

Expect to wait at least two hours to see him, even if you have the first appointment after lunch. And he is full of himself.

Excellent physician. He always lets the patient know how the Treatment is going. He never talked down to me or my family, even if the news is not great and took the time to answer my questions, never acted rushed or distracted. He gave me confidence that he would do everything modern medicine had to offer. By the way, I am still reading and keeping with two book clubs.

Excellent customer service.

Dr. Deegan knows about eyes, but he is very arrogant and makes you wait a very long time for your scheduled appointments....sometimes up to two hours. Then he cops an attitude when questioned about it. He is not good at giving you all the information you need. I think he tells you what he thinks you want to hear. I almost died because of his lack of information.
