Dr. William Hugo Dillin, MD

Dr. Dillin came to see my mom when she was 86 and unable to get into the office. She was scheduled for back surgery the following week with another doctor (not affiliated with Kerlan-Jobe). After brief exam, Dr. Dillin told her it was her hip, not her back. Of course he was correct, and basically saved my mom’s life, because the back surgery proposed was extreme (and wrong!). My mom will be 98 on Monday. Dr. Dillin is an absolute life saver, and a very kind and caring human!

Dr Dillon performed 4 spinal surgeries on me. Without his knowledge and care I would be bedridden but instead I am in the gym daily and swim 2 miles a day. My fondest memory was awakening at 3:30 am the morning after one of my surgeries with Dr Dillon, hair in a mess, staring at me. I asked if he was at the hospital for another emergency at that hour and he said No, I was just worried about you. Dr. Dillin diagnosed my slight hip arthritis instantly and prescribed a palliative that he said was 30 years old and with which he had never had a problem. Although the drug is old, he explained, it had less side effects than newer and more expensive drugs. I appreciated his approach in that he wasn't in thrall to the drug companies. It works.
