Dr. William Maxwell Duke Jr, MD

Dr. Duke is arrogant, dismissive, and completely closed minded. It is either his way or no way. My appt was for my annual physical but all I got was a lecture on COVID and why I need the jab even though I had COVID. All he did was lecture me, listen to me breathe, and listen to my heartbeat. He never asked about me wanting a mammogram, if I had any issues to discuss, or any of the normal things done during a physical exam. I was fortunate enough to have a blood drawn for labs which is always done before I actually see the doctor. When I refused the flu shot this year he lost it! Obviously, I am looking for a new doctor. This is the second time he has lectured me about taking the COVID jab which I have no intention of ever taking.

Dr. Duke was dismissive and didn't listen to a word I said about how I was feeling. Dismissed it as "chronic fatigue but we can't do anything about that." I am extremely fatigued to the point where I can barely walk through a grocery store and my ribs and sternum are so painful it's difficult to take a deep breathe. I'm only 57 years old. Dr Duke treated me like some hysterical female.

Presented with excerbation of asthma and prescribed antibiotics and minimal dose of med to stop cough. Saw pulmonologist next day who said he diagnosed and prescribed poorly. Dr. Duke you missed your calling of telemedicine where you don't have to come in contact with patient.

I was seen promptly. Dr. Duke stayed with me explaining every thing about medicines I was taking. Answered any questions i had. Set up appointment for me with specialist. Called in medicine refills.
