Dr. William Joseph Dunn, MD

WIted 3.5 hours and left. That feels extremely disrespectful.

Dr. Dunn saved the eyesight in my right eye, and I will be forever grateful.

I was treated for Wet Macular Degeneration the shots left me with many health problems. The shots for Wet Macular Degeneration was a cancer medication not approved for eyes and I was not told about all the side effects. I now have to have eyelid surgery; my sight is being blocked from being stretched too far. I went for a second opinion at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute which is ranked the #1 eye hospital in the USA. I arrived 11 days after Dr. Dunn said I had another hemorrhage and simply walked out of the office, leaving me scared to death I was going blind. The physician at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute informed me they could not find a hemorrhage nor any Wet Macular Degeneration . They simply used a laser to remove a cloud build upon my cataract implant which restored my vision.

I saw Dr Dunn for a consultation and I found him to be very professional and to the point! Some people may take his manner as gruff because he is not wishy washy! He did my exam and gave me a confident diagnosis. I prefer a physician that gets right to the point and that's exactly what he does. He was recommended as the best retinal specialist in this area and I believe it. I would recommend him hands down .

I had quite a blow to the head from being in an accident in 2009 ... 3 months later my cataract lens implant became detatched. Dr Dunn's staff got me in right away. The office is always extremely busy and very organized I believe it has to be this way so that Dr Dunn is able to help numerous patients every day!! I give both he and his staff a lot of credit for being able do this and still keep pleasant and caring attitudes. From the very beginning I developed a great relationship with all of the staff as well as Dr. Dunn. I had to have two surgeries to regain my vision which took approx 5-6 months and numerous appts. Dr Dunn and his staff kept both my wife and myself informed and up to date on what was happening and what to expect. We was always encouraging and we were very comfortable and had confidence in him while under his care. I continue to see him every six months to track my on going healing. Thank you Dr Dunn and staff for helping me regain the vision in my left eye.

I was recently referred by my optometrist to Dr. Dunn for iritis. Due to Dr. Dunn's accurate and efficient diagnosis early autoimmune disease was detected. Dr. Dunn is in very high demand so you will wait a bit but very well worth it. I found Dr. Dunn to be caring and informative. He willingly answered all questions and addressed my concerns. I have been to his office twice now and each time the other patients have praised his work to no end. Hats off to the techs and office staff..these ladies are what really keeps the place running like a well-oiled machine!!!

He may be a knowledgeable doctor, but this man has been very rude to my mother on several visits-so it's not just a "bad day" occurence. I will be finding another doctor to take her to. If he cannot handle answering questions, he should not be in this profession!
