Dr. William Carl Dyer JR., MD

Have been there twice due to workers comp. I hope you have all day to see the dr. because you will wait that long, both times I have waited in the room for over a hour, the music is so loud and awful. On the first trip he took a x-ray and said come back in four weeks and we will see if it is broken, on the second time he just looked at my ankle and asked if it still hurt and that was it. come back in three weeks and we will look at it again. I will not be returning.

Thank you Dr. Dyer, you have giving me the chance to feel my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter's smiling face again and for that i'm looking for to feeling the world again My hat goes off to you sir

I was offered a receptionist position by Dr. Dyer he was in need of help after the last girl quit on him for reasons he did not wish to discuss which was fine. I informed Dr. of a family vacation that was already planned before taking the position and he stated that was fine. Everyday I checked to see if there was anything he needed of me and I did that and more. He always assured me that I was doing a great job. As my vacation came closer and the office wished me well on my trip, I asked before leaving the day before would I have a job when I come back. I was assured that I would have a job and that was nothing to worry about. While I was gone, the girl who quit on him was allowed to come back in and sub which is why I asked would I have a job when I returned. Needless Dr. Dyer called me on my first day back to tell me my services were no longer needed. I asked what happen and he stated that he doesn't have to get into any of that. He later stated that he found things that were not… being taken care of such as insurance. I was never asked to handle insurance because he had a girl who came in when she felt like it to handle all his insurance filing and billing needs. I was only asked to collect insurance cards and make copies for the girl who handles that. So how was I discharged for something I don't even handle. Pt's told me to watch out for him because he is racist and a snake. Sweet to your face but had a plan all along to get rid of me when he let the old girl come in and sub for me while gone. Dr. will have pt's waiting for hours to be seen. some would leave without notification and then he would get upset with me when they left. He wouldn't even come into the office until 10:30 almost 11 and go on break at 12pm while pt's are still waiting to be seen with appointment waiting since 9:30a.m. He stated that I should ask each pt where they are going when they go towards the door. Some would leave when I went to the back to take him paperwork, some would really let me have it complaining of the wait. I was professional and listened to pt's complainants and went to Dr. or Nurse when issues arose to try and get pt's seen before leaving. He wanted a certain person in the office and it was not one of color no matter how hard I tried. Horrible person to work for since there are under handed motives in involved. Beware.

My pain has been relieved from my knees and back. without medicine just physical therapy. Doctor works hand and hand with them. They love him to death. On my first visit I was treat like family. I was in and out in 30 minutes.

I have found Dr. Dyer to be a great help in managing and mitigating my back pain. His examinations are very thorough. He explains causes and possible remedies extensively, prescribes exercises for strengthening the supportive muscles involved, and prescribes medication as needed. He also takes an active, wholistic approach to the patient’s overall health, recommending appropriate tests, ordering supportive bloodwork, and referring to other physicians as deemed necessary for total health and fitness.

Dr. Dyer reviewed my previous medical history and accurately assessed what I would need to get better. Surgery isn't totally ruled out, but getting me to a stronger, healthier position to go forward in life is.I Have arthritis in my left shoulder and two jacked up knees from a previous accident and the Doctor put together an aggressive rehab plan and put me on the road to recovery...something that 3 other surgeons totally overlooked! Dr. Dyer cares much deeper about my total healing, the long term fix, not just performing surgery. I am confident in the plan, explanation, professional care I have received from Dr. Dyer. There is NO quick fix to healing or pain management. To heal correctly and successfully, it takes time and patience to be a patient.

I waited for hours after my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Dyer has no bedside manners . He did not listen to what I told him and I feel sad for his staff. That forced horrible music that he will not turn down or off, should be considered malpractice.

Even though I've asked about the before x-rays I was still never given a view of them and the question was dismissed as though I hadn't even asked. I've seen this doctor prior to surgery and post surgery. I was offended by the fact that when I asked for medical equipment I was told no. I wasn't even questioned as to the reason I felt I needed the equipment. When I got 2 additional opinions about the treatment that's needed after surgery I was told that with a joint it needs to stay mobile so that arthritis doesn't setup in the joint. And worst of all when I originally came to see this doctor I had a previous spinal injury and was being treated for it by other doctors. He told me without ever examining me that there was nothing wrong with my back and I shouldn't be taking medication for it. He decided to ask me after he had preformed my knee surgery why was I taking the medicines. I thought this to be rather odd seeing as I've listed the meds each time I come for a visit as well as… listed the injury to my spine prior to ever being treated by him. Then after all this he decides he wants me to have x-rays done on my spine but didn't show me the results or indicate why, as I've already stated I'm being treated by another doctor. .
