He spent zero time with me and asked zero questions. No information about my treatment.

My entire visit from start to finish took a little longer than an hour. The office staff was courteous andthe nurse was professional. I was in a room before finishing the paperwork. The doctor took his time with me. He listened to what I had to say, reviewed my mris and made a diagnosis as well as a treatment plan. I couldn't be happier.

As both a Neuroscientist AND Clinical Neuropsychologist, previously of the Salk Biological Institute, (working under Dr. Francis Crick, Nobel Prize Laureate), and also as someone published 11 times in PubMed, I was beyond horrified at the behavior and treatment by Dr. William Ferrell! NEVER in my entire career have I encountered another “Professional” as incompetent, out of touch with circumstances and reality, and blatantly rude, as this individual. Dr. Ferrell was unable to comprehend the neurological data I relayed to him, was unable to act on this information, and was unable to ascertain the proper line of treatment. He was disrespectful, chauvinistic, and out of touch with modern Neuropsychological Testing Examinations. I had to explain to him current research on various avenues for Cerebral Hemorrhage victims, and in addition the sequelae which follows. My negative response is not because he doesnt see new patients. I've been a patient of his for over 5 years and i've seen him twice. I love his PAs. They got him an extra star. But it is true that they change very often. It would be nice to see my actual Dr. every once and a while.

has transformed my life for a 1/4 century . Most of the negatives on here is because he doesn't take new patients .

Caring doctor, who took his time to analyze my husband’s gait and general well being and brought him back to good balance and strength. We recommend Dr William G. Ferrell to anyone who needs a good neurologist.

I have been seeing Dr. Ferrell for about 4 years. I have met him once and have seen his pa everytime. I have been through about 5 pa's since I started. There is no consistency. They act like you are just a payment to them.

On behalf of my mother---Initial consultation; he ordered tests; wanted to see her in 3month--he's booked out 6months! Not waiting 6mo for results, so agreed to see his NP in 3mo, 3 times. After a year, suppose to see him in 6wks for results of recent test/treatment if needed. So my dad goes to pick up routine prescriptions and finds a new drug Ferrell ordered for Alzheimer's--THIS IS NOT HOW YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO FIND OUT!! Not even a phone call; what a disgusting & uncompassionate thing to do

I saw the doctor once, then was referred for an MRI, then referred again for an MRA, then referred to a neurosurgeon. I did not discuss any of the findings with the doctor, although the nurse told me a had a "hefty" aneurysm. I was not consulted on any of the referrals, so I suspect some sort of relationship between this doctor's office and the neurosurgeon. I also found out the doctor never looked at the actual images I had done, only the read the reports. I had to go back to the MRI and MRA places to pickup the image CDs to take to the unknown neurosurgeon. I decided to pickup my medical records from Raleigh Neurologists as well, then fired them.

This doctor appeared to be drugged. He rarely bothered to open his eyes during my visit. He had zero personality. He didn't seem to have any interest in my problem, and smirked at my former diagnosis ... while offering none of his own. [His nurse showed more interest!] And then he wanted me to come back in six months. No way!
