Dr. William Wayne Gilliam, DDS

Let's start with that Dr. Gilliam is great, however his staff is horrible. The act as if that don't care and the receptionist is rude. I've been calling every day during office hour and it auto goes to voicemail, I've left several messages and I get no return call. Dr. Gilliam if you ever read these reviews please do something about your staff.

I did not go there for my front teeth, instead for a rear filling and my experience was otherwise great but for some reason he told me to be still. He then proceeded to grind the bottom edge on one of my front teeth level with the other. I never knew nor thought my front teeth were not level with each other and cannot tell there is any difference in what he did in leveling my front teeth. He probably did even not take off 1/1000th of an inch, but I work outside. In the wintertime the weather is dry and I get cuticles on my fingers which bother me if my fingers touch each other or when putting my hands in my pockets. I know this is not pleasing to see me do this and it looks like I am biting my nails but I am not biting my nails. Since I do not keep nail clippers in my pockets I usually bite the cuticles off my fingers and continue what I was doing. Now I am unable to do this. I wish he had told me beforehand and allowed me to give my input before he did this. Outside of that....Dr.… Gilliam is a great dentist. I paid my bill in full but understand he will work out payment methods with patients who cannot pay their bill in full. I think Dr. Gilliam does a great service for his community. He is very courteous, professional and has a polite and friendly staff. Do not let my opinion influence your decision to see a good dentist. It was just my individual experience with him.
