Dr. William Mallory Grady, MD

I have had digestive issues for as long as I can remember. Other doctors just chalked it up to IBS. I finally asked if I could see a specialist and was referred to Dr. Grady. It was the best thing that could've happened. Finally someone listened to me and because of that I finally got a diagnosis that allowed me to be treated. Dr Grady worked closely with me, explaining everything along the way, until within about 6 months I went into remission. Now I see him about 2x a year just to check in an modify meds. Recently when I had an unrelated health scare he took the time to help my other Dr's rule out digestive cancers and he did so despite his very busy schedule He's such a superb doctor I'm not sure if he is even taking new patients or how long a wait it is to see him. But if it's not too long of a wait and/or if you can get in, you could not see a better, more compassionate, thoughtful, caring and capable doctor. Dr Grady doesn't need my review. I think, but I don't know this… for sure, he already has as many patients as he can see. But I would not hesitate seeing any other doctor at UW Digestive Disease Clinic, partly because I know if Dr Grady is still there, I will get great care. I just wanted to let people know what a difference he has made in my life. I am so grateful because I know how lucky I am to have been referred to him. Otherwise I could very well still be suffering symptoms that I don't have to experience anymore. My experience with Dr Grady, which has now spanned 7 years, is probably not a unique one. I hear great things about him from other doctors. That does not happened if you're not great at what you do. I hope this helps.
