Dr. William Grossman, MD

Dr. Grossman is not normally my OBGYN, but he was assigned my case since my normal doctor (in the same practice) no longer delivers babies. At 38 weeks, I had a growth scan where my baby was measuring large, and I was told I would see Dr. Grossman in a few days to schedule induction or a cesarean (I was very hesitant about a cesarean). When my appointment with Dr. Grossman was cancelled due to an emergency cesarean for another patient, Dr. Grossman took time out of his day to call me after hours to apologize and to prepare me for the appointment I would be having with him the next day. He discussed my medical history with me, informed me of my options for giving birth, and the risks of both. He went over everything in detail and said he wanted me to have all of the information in order to be able to discuss further at the appointment. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only the patient was to be seen, however Dr. Grossman invited my husband to join me at the appointment since he would… be at the birth and that way we could make our final decisions together. As we sat through the appointment, Dr. Grossman introduced himself, and then went over everything we had discussed over the phone again, and in detail. He was NOT pushy and did not try to sway my decision on whether or not to have a scheduled cesarean at all. When I asked his medical opinion he gave it to me, but reminded me it was not my decision and let me know he would support me either way. Any doctor could have easily made the decision to just tell me I would be scheduling a cesarean, but this man took the time to explain everything, give me all of my options, explain all of my risks, and still did not pressure me at all. He even told me I didn't have to decide at the appointment and if I wanted to think about it overnight, I could let him know the following day. My husband and I ultimately decided that it was safest for both the baby and myself to move forward with the cesarean. Dr. Grossman made us both feel so comfortable and at peace with our decision. When it came time for the actual surgery, he again made sure I was comfortable. The surgery itself was smooth and my recovery was much better than I anticipated. I had a follow up after two weeks, and again Dr. Grossman showed concern for both me and my baby and made it clear that we were a priority, not just another patient. I had never med this man previous to the week my child was born, and yet me made me feel comfortable and cared for.

I was referred to Dr. Grossman by a family member after a difficult delivery for my first child. Dr. Grossman is professional, caring, and knowledgeable. He is very easy to talk to and voice any concerns you have. Everytime I left him a message on mychart he called me back personally that same day, instead of just answering the message back. I wish I would have found him for the delivery of my first child. I would highly recommend Dr. Grossman!!

I started going to Dr. Grossman after two other OBGYN's that I just didn't connect with and was left confused and not feeling heard. I've been with Dr. Grossman now for about 5 years and couldn't be happier with my choice. I've had two healthy pregnancies while under his care and I always felt he listened, provided guidance and made me feel heard in my visits. He's never rushed anything or pushed an agenda during my pregnancies, but instead clearly laid out pro's and con's to the decisions I had to made. I would highly recommend him again and again.

Dr. Grossman is a wonderful doctor! He listens and is understanding. I was anxious the whole pregnancy and he would never treat me like a crazy person (although I was). Would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Grossman was the first doctor to take my pain seriously. He listened to what I had to say and didn't make me feel uncomfortable. I'm now on a medication that relieves my chronic pain and I feel like I have my life back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Grossman for about 17 years and with his practice for 20. He is patient, kind and most of all listens. He doesn't make your decisions for you, but gives you many options to think and consider. There is no doctor I trust more than him. There is never any pressure to "take a pill" or have a procedure done. He helps me make informed decisions that are best for ME and my body from simple yearly check ups to surgery. I cannot say enough good things about him. I highly respect him as a professional.

Extremely compassionate and understanding. Takes time to be thorough and make sure patient is comfortable.

You will wish Dr. Grossman could be you doctor for everything.
